As of 22 September, Focus Economics’ USD/RUB forecast for 2022 was at RUB117.5 at the end of this year and RUB115.9 at the end of 2023.

Meanwhile, economics data provider Trading Economics gave a less bullish USD/RUB forecast. Its macro economic models suggested that the pair could trade at RUB64.61 by the end of this quarter, and at RUB82.71 in a year.

Algorithm-based forecasting service Wallet Investor’s dollar to rouble forecast for the next 12 months was at RUB64.39, while Gov Capital expected the rouble’s value to plunge against the US dollar and its USD/RUB forecast for 2025 was in a wide range between RUB200 and RUB300.

Due to the uncertainty of the geopolitical development and related market volatility, many analysts have refrained from making long-term USD/RUB forecasts and didn’t provide USD/RUB forecast for 2030.

Here's another angle on it, some of the old Directors think the way is clear to return to the Board if a move to a friendly exchange or a company / stock split is on the cards. Russia may be toxic, but all the shouting in the press about how Russian companies on LSE should be sent to hell has died down somewhat now. Think Geoffrey Boycott after he got convicted of beating up his girlfriend; let the dust settle, back in the commentary booth €:)
