I posted a few months ago that Russian " war history" when advancing is frankly abysmal but added the caveat that when retreating there are few better. Id like to qualify that statement. When defending the motherland, when they are retreating and leaving a scorched earth behind them but retreating into supplies,food and willing reinforcemnts to take their place at the front and allow respite,"there are few better"
This time the advancing forces are well supplied,their supply lines and reinforcements are fresh,fed and pumped up.They are not cut off by extended supply lines, wearing summer combats in minus temperatures and eating stolen scraps or their horses like the Nazis and Napoleons troops. In addition the " reinforements" if there are any are forced conscripts badly supplied even from the training camps and frankly as enthusiastic as a two dollar hooker :)
The other slight issue is without kit,weapons,patriotism and leadership These conscripts are potentially once they start retreating an armed bolshevik 2.0 revoltionary militia, quite possibly rampaging through Crimea and its pretty beaches and dacha, occupied by the new bourgeoisie, and the well off in Crimea know it and are ready to scarper at a moments notice. !!! ... repsective governments and instututions holding Russian foreign currency change the relevant laws by consensus and start buying Ukranian 50 year bonds with Russia money. Definition of Ukraine to be decided based on the the pre 2014 internationally agreed map. No bonds to be honoured or paid tradeable until Ukrainian terretorial integrity restored and interest rates to be set by the markets.
All Russias money tied up in 50 year Ukrainain bonds and they cant sell a single one on the open market until the country is unified. :) Funds to rebuild Ukraine AND ..

Hey im no expert lol but seems to me this is a good situation for all except the 11 % on moex who i presume are sanctioned ?? My main concern is that ( like myself until corrected ) there will be holders out there mistakenly thinking this is another evraz situation !! ie that uk holders or sipp holders will be between a rock and a hard place ! IE sipp holders cant convert to paper and that this applies to uk holders.
Hopefully that will be short lived and once access to swift is returned we can get back to business properly with all assets ??
