John Wood bought over 200k shares in the 23 p range a month ago !! This news would not have suddendly appeared on his radar today, last week or last month ! He knew this was in the pipeleine but bought anyway !!! Why ??? Good question im glad you asked :) Because, buying today instead would have looked like damage limitation exersize, buying close to the contract signing ( which he will know about ) is not allowed sooooo he paid what he knew was, short term over the odds but he also knows is way cheaper than after the signing!!! The timescale of which he will also be fully aware of !!!
Ie the 23p ish he paid was the only way he could realistically and legally get them at a bargain without accusations of privilidged infomation !!!
