A bit of a joke really. He doesn’t seem to learn so PRD doesn’t move forward. To not get finance sorted in this environment is a shambles and highlights that if the macro climate hadn’t changed the exiting plans would never have worked. Death of a thousand placings at this rate with little progress. If this drop is the market knowing a placing is coming at least it would be progress if finance sorted.
Ireland seems to have taken the emphasis off Morocco but is a long way from going anywhere. Feels like a mess.

Yes it could turn out the bod have been working their nuts off or it could all go pear shape and in hindsight the writing was on the wall. Paul was very positive on Trinidad, that looks to have fallen out of bed. The hope is Morocco doesn’t go the same way. There’s a chance he’s holding onto it so tight it all passes him by as he won’t give enough up to get it all moving.
You pay your money and make your choice but there’s nothing wrong with questioning a bod. I’ll remain invested until the end of this year, all things being equal, then re evaluate.

Well they said the last placing was over subscribed so if this was the case, limited headroom to issue more not withstanding, you’d like to think they’d have the finance sorted for the drilling in Morocco by some other means. They need to update the market how they plan to finance this and probably should have done already. Ireland could well be a decent play but it’s a mess over there until people actually start to feel the problem. Morocco is here and now and with the current international situation they really ought to be able to sort finance relatively easily, if it’s anywhere near as good as they say it is.

Could receive approval to drill in six months doesn’t sound like drilling within six months. Any drilling in 2022 would be a bonus.
In terms of the testing or anything else, nothing is quick with PG.
If he can’t get anything away in the current climate it will never happen. He may have to bite the bullet and give up a bit more than he wants to get it all moving.

Very true. This is the perfect climate to get deals over the line. If it doesn’t happen during this ‘perfect storm’ it’s never getting done.

A good question which will probably be lost in the arguing between personalities all day. I do recall a few media reports a while back alluding to the projects being worth quite a bit more than that but I cannot find them. From memory there are posters on here who are all over the Irish side, I will be keeping an eye out between the noise.
Let’s hope 2022 is Predators year, we need financing/JV soonish or we are stuck with plans and ideas with death by a thousand cut placings.

Rome wasn’t built in a day but financing needs sorting and there couldn’t be a better time with geopolitics at the moment. At some point PG is going to have to give up something be it JV or more dilution to get everything moving. I’d expect everything in place soon because if he can’t get it done in this climate, the trousers will certainly be pulled down later.
I know the focus is or Morocco at the moment but given recent energy problems, surely Ireland has moved up the order a bit.

I’d have thought Ireland would have provided an opportunity in the current climate to get some kind of deal done, proceeds of which could be used to finance Morocco. Should be the perfect storm for prd, need to strike while it’s everyone’s priority for energy security.

I have to say, with geo politics, as horrendous as they are, playing into PRD’s favour I would have thought news may have been released regarding projects moving forward a bit.

I had been invested about 18 months or so. I de risked in the last couple of weeks to about a quarter of my holding. Sold the last today at about 9.5p to cut loses and walk away, didn’t think it would drop as low as it did after that.
I put up with the lack of comms by the bod as I believed that a decent deal was coming. The invasion was not their fault but with the advisors they have employed it’s taken too long and it’s come back to bite them. A very genuine good luck to long term investors, a chance that in time will see this go to where we all thought it would, but for me It’s now too volatile, it’s not worth the cost.
A sale RNS will probably land this week now, should it happen I’ll be happy for those that have stuck with it.

What’s the point of the last two lines of that tweet? Are they implying the broker note generated volume instead of the war and sanctions.
That broker note coming out just before sanctions looked timed to get some strength into the share price for some to offload due to climate.
Good EUA released something about the strategy but the last couple of lines are a joke, not least that the share price has halved since it was issued.

You lost any credibility of a balanced argument when you said “there is a nuclear war pending.”
No point selling if the world’s been decimated. Why protect capital?

The last couple of cranking up of sanctions has seen the company release an RNS saying not affected by them. We’ve had more this weekend. Expecting another in the morning to say not affected, or the inference may be that it is. Clearly they can’t release everyday but increase this weekend are at least as significant as the last two increases.

He can’t. He installs a Russian backed government and creates the buffer he wants. The quicker this happens the more lives will be saved. Over time the sanctions wil bite, Putin will move on and at some point Ukraine will overthrow, if they want to.
The simplest solution is Ukraine does a Switzerland, disarms and becomes neutral, but they’ll worry Putin can then take over at will. How can they believe him, last week he said military exercises and not invading.

They are going to have to dangle a carrot at some point. No incentive to fall back unless something in it for him, but he can’t be seen to get away with it. God knows how this will be sorted out once all the fighting stops.

Upping your nuclear response because of an “aggressive statement” from NATO removes any kind of credibility for any other argument. Nuclear is agreed worldwide as a deterrent. It raised eyebrows when he said he’d consider it if Moscow was to fall by conventional means, to put your nuclear capability on alert because of an invasion that he instigated, which is only four days in and isn’t going as expected, is mental.
