Why quote buy sell ratios then ?

The buy sold estimates are based on an outdated algorithm. Unless you’re studying the mid price all day those buy/sell numbers are out. I wouldn’t put too much stick in them, the market doesn’t.

I believe it’s 3%. There has been some serious volume since the placing with a very stable price. Someone is certainly taking them.

He gets the shares back. He isn’t losing anything per penny rise. He’s getting £50k for not having the headroom. I can’t be bothered either. Anyone who can’t admit any wrong doing in a bod is agenda driven. Lonny should not have inflated the share price for o get PG out at a higher price end of.

I don’t really care about the loaning of the shares. It was a point that it wasn’t done freely. If anything it shows lack of foresight to get the headroom in place as a contingency.
What has irked me is while waiting for the joint venture outcome, Lonny tweeted like mad so PG could sell nearly 2 million shares at 9p while a placing of 5.5p was on the cards.
That is not good governance what anyone says.

He is getting the interest while the shares are loaned. It doubles in the event they are not returned in time.
Selling gas may or may not be enough to progress Morocco and other funding may well be required for Ireland or TT.

“Interest shall accrue on the Loan at the rate of 6% per annum of the Principal Sum of £825,000, being the market value of 15 million shares at the Placing Price of 5.5 pence per share. The default rate of interest under the Stock Lending Agreement for any sum which is not paid when due is 12 % per annum.“

Regardless of the antics of the near two million sale, I think anyone with powder dry at these prices is a no brainier and I wouldn’t sell over it.
If a CEO gets a bad reputation it can affect going back to the market at a later date if finance is needed.

Hopefully we’ll know one way or another what we have in the coming months.

That isn’t great behaviour which ever way you look at it.

I know it needed financing and perhaps the placing is better than the JV. What irritated me was the Lonny Tweets with PG selling out on the back of it while we were waiting for the outcome of the JV., they must have known they were taking the placing route. That behaviour can come back to bite when they need to go to the market at a later date.
That aside, the financing is there to get things moving in the next few months which is what we have needed.

Poor governance and sentiment equals a lower share price which leads to 5.5p placings and more dilution, so it’s not just traders it affects.

We’ve had no explanation why the JV wasn’t pursued. Two hopes of knowing what went on here.
Either Peterhouse not happy with the route taken or PG not happy with all they could advise was a 5.5p placing. Novum not exactly an upgrade.
My only hope after the drilling and testing is that PG doesn’t word it in a way no one still has a clue what we have.

What a shambles.

It’s not the dilution it’s the manner in which it keeps happening. One well drilled in two years and remains untested. All the hype from Lonny while he knew the JV was not happening and Paul was selling out.
This isn’t the first time of a poor placing. Let’s hope it’s the last.
PG so far has been all jam tomorrow with a tendency to get distracted with the next sparkly thing. That’s why the market cap is so low with so much potential.
Let’s see what happens in the next few months.

The tweets were to get strength into the share price so Paul could offload. It’s ok though, we don’t have a nomad and he cleared it with the FCA.
At least they have the money now so some drilling and testing can take place.
PG always mentions dilution but backs himself into the corner each time so it’s always done at horror rates.
The hope is he’s better at finding the oil and gas than he is running a company.

They could have got a placing away at 5.5p at anytime. Why bother with the JV if this was always the preferred option? The interested parties will also know now is the time with energy security issues.
Finance is finally sorted, for the immediate drills and testing anyway. Could have been handled better imo.
If PG and Lonny wanted to know they could have magically sorted all the issues with a 5.5p placing, I could have told them that for nothing months ago and saved the fees for the financial advice.

They’ve 60 million to churn through and the market won’t believe anything that comes out of Lonnys mouth. I think people have time.
