Sorry about my poor typing earlier. Was crunched up on a plane about to take off and was doing the best I could on my phone. I normally use a laptop.

Feel caught between a rock and a hard place. I am not accusing the BoD of deception, but of p*** poor decision making with the result that the financial performance and return to shareholders is miserable.

Wondering what you intend to do? My trust in this management has completely evaporated. Far too many missed targets. A poor new JV decision which resulted in massive dilution of advanced Turkish assets and a fear that the same party will be involved again exploiting Dokwe - no doubt demanding to be the dominant partner with control of the majority of the assets and able to dictate strategy. In fact dictate everything. If the Dokwe deal is voted against, following much AAU expenditure (as there has been also at Apliki), then I imagine the SP will drop significantly and next production will be Salinbas. God only knows when that will happen, just more holes drilled and 'pleased' RNSs to follow.

If we believe and vote Yes then are we just going to open ourselves to years of delay to the Dokwe production date estimate? Experience with Ariana say yes, with absolutely zero doubt in my mind. Plus the new ex Rockover shareholders will possibly dump AAU shares by the million.

This isn't what I bought into and I suspect its not what you bought into either. Feel pretty angry tbh.

2.4.tp.buy? long term.holders are, in my opinion,.dumping now. this is all the fault of.a.managemnt expecting shareholders.to follow.their.decisions like sheep. vote for a takeover..no one with sense believes their.estimates to.prodyction because we have been bull****ted before. no indication of the asx dilution.

Think many of us have had enough of this jam.tomorrow.company. Too many missed deadlines,.many by years. Now we are expected to vote in favour.of a big deal with no definate date for production and with no indication of how.much more.dilution will be caused by the ASX listing..Was previously going to vote in favour. I.think.I.have changed my mind now, unless.more details are published to convince me otherwise. I want a definitive target of 5 years.maximim and 10% maximum dilution

Think you may be on your own with that conclusion Mr Harrision. Over the years here I cant remember any RNS which didn't start with 'pleased', 'very pleased' or indeed 'super duper delighted this is really fab'. Normally results in a lower close than open such as happened on Tuesday with the Salinbas update! Lets hope today is better, think its up at the moment, and I'd hate to jinx it.

Can we have a competition on this board the same as they did on ADVFN.

Its ironic that the share price has fallen today considering there are 2, not 1 RNS announcements. One shows GSK to be developing, so far successfully, a life changing medication against that scourge of the Western world that is cancer. The other is a court case brought by ambulance chasing lawyers to further the cause of their own wealth by persuading gimme gimme gimme claimants to make dubious claims in the hope of some free cash. I assume they would be happy to to kill off GSK and lose their massive contribution to life expectancy that they provide. Funny old world.

That is precisely what I mean. I was a great believer in the AAU team, not just the AAU company, in my near 10 year involvement including attending presentations in London. I even had the pleasure of lunch with VanVan and Paul280i on one occasion,. But, as we have both raised in our posts, I find that I reach the end of an RNS statement and feel the need to review and question what it really actually means, what is glossed over, what is left out. Bit like Terms and Conditions! But as I said previously, I am hopeful you are right with the 50K!!

Jeffries has 'reduced' their target from 1330p, set in April, to 1150p while retaining a 'buy' rating.

That is not a reduction, because x rights I calc (I think correctly) that 1330p equates to 1175p.

I cant agree your figures. I would be very surprised to find 30,000 ounces from Tavsan leach with an additional 20,000 ounces from Kiziltepe for one year let alone for a significant number of years. Only one of us can be correct, I really hope it is you. Sener has a rather tenuous relationship with unambiguous statements at times as I'm sure everyone here has noticed.

As for the logic about the necessity of debt funding to finish, how do you square the need for debt funding to avoid a 2 year delay with the following from Sener on January 17th

'with first gold from the heap-leach currently expected to be delivered during Q3 2024.'

I am feeling nice so wont dwell on the 'Q3' part of that sentence.

I agree with DJs last paragraph on politics. The latter part of which, hoping for a Labour victory, I would never have though possible for me just a few years ago. Whether that reflects a natural aging political swing from left leaning student to protective and blinkered famly man to more relaxed caring near septuagenarian I'm unsure.

Sadly only 1 of the last 5 messages are non green, and I can see why ADVFN is a more popular option these days even though there is usually little of the helpful content there that slig seeks. Anyway, enjoy the (UK) bank holiday all. Dont forget to play nicely......
