In my opinion,as interested non oliie, reservoir performance (or worry of lack of) is the prime thing holding back HUR. If the FPSO proves the concept then not only does the value of greater Lancaster increase but also greater Warwick as Dr T has stated that the two areas are geologically similar. I have too much in here for comfort, and its pretty binary imo. If the reservoir behaves as we clearly all believe it will then I'm quids in. if it doesn't I shall cry
uncontrollably all the way to the food bank. Cant even blame oil price at the mo

I've been of the opinion for some time that PoO will be locked in a range of say $65 - $75. Any less and fracking is fairly unprofitable and US production drops, and more and they will produce like the clappers and flood the market. OPEC will continue to tweek. Factor in Trumps tantrums as well of course!
All imo and as you all know I am usually wrong.

I used to have BCA shares, but I wouldn't consider them now. The problem I have here is WBAC. Its a rip off, the adverts even acknowledge it, focussing only on convenience and time saving, not even pretending to give a fair financial deal to the consumer. With its flash TV adverts and use of celebrities I think WBAC is very similar to WONGA, with the same sort of perception by the public.
BCA were once really respected. I'm 61 11/12 ths now (cant bring myself to say 62) and when I was 17 used to drive spluttering old Ford Zodiacs etc through the Measham site for British Car Auctions. I'm sure the leaded petrol fumes did no lasting damage!! My point is that it was a very respectable honest company then. But not this.
I would question that you have good management here. WBAC is undoubtedly profitable - why wouldn't it be when they are rooking their punters. But its image is really very bad, and I think getting worse. Its profitable so while it is the CEO should dump it to whatever slick suited parasites he can find for a good price and focus of the decent core of the other BCA businesses.

Seem to remember having to bang on the door at AS last time in order to get in. There were other AAU shareholders wandering round bewildered as well until we sussed it out. Give yourself an extra few minutes!

I would Genghis on about 30% of my shares - that is the 30% that I was too weak willed to stop buying!

Looking on the bright side, I may have had Carillion shares but didn't have JOG, Interserve, Patisserie Valerie, Debenhams......

They did one in Walsall last year from memory, just after t he May AS one.....unless I dreamed that.
Quite possible in fact, last night I had a dream that HUR turned out to have drilled a dry well, like happened to JOG last week!

Ha ha, near Ironbridge, but I really don't think you will need to! This is a blip, gold stable if not climbing, production figures soon which I expect to be consistent with the last few quarters plus a bit of enthusiasm generated by the London Meeting. Not fancy going to that?

Thanks for the reply. You sound about the same as me (bad luck), reasonably researched but no background of being hands on in the nasty cold North Sea.
I agree with what you say, I have been here a couple of years (maybe 3?) and quite realistic that things could, even at this late stage, go horribly wrong. I am not blessed with knowledge gleaned from working in the industry unlike some posters, but If the possibility of problems weren't there the share price would not be where it is (still). All boils down to whether you think Dr T is for real or full of BS. I hope to God (the one I haven't got!) that he's right, because if he's cocked up big time this is going to really hurt - but hurt rather than wipe me out as I spread investments around. Hurt as in compound fracture rather than driving off a cliff.
Re things going smoothly, or not, mistakes have been made and delays incurred (though as AD will point out still within guidance, its just that for once Dr T wont we under promising/ over delivering). I am hardly one who should cast the first stone when it comes to mistakes...….

Feel a bit of a traitor here. Bought some Premier Oil shares a couple of months ago at about 77p.
They are cracking along, seem very sensitive to PoO. Bit like the way my NG and UU are geared to comrade Corbyns popularity.
I have many times more HUR shares though, so I don't feel too embarrassed admitting being unfaithful. PMO are just a bit on the side.
