Hi DJ
Appreciate your thoughts. Return can of course be Capital gains from increased SP and/or dividends. So I don't think that I personally expect a dividend income to match or exceed the returns on cash deposits, provided that gains in SP are healthy. 6 months ago the SP was 1.25p, so anyone lucky enough to have that as their base price is probably smiling!
Having spoken to the BOD I dont believe that dividends are going to be a priority, though I wouldn't dismiss a nominal amount being paid from April 2020 - they are well aware of shareholder expectation. The implied route to prosperity for them, and in fairness they do have significant 'skin' in the game, is the growth of the SP through exploration/development of the company assets. There is also a capital cost (I have no idea of what magnitude) of maintining many licenses, and the exploration schedule is at least partially dictated by constraints due to that . So I see it as a bit of a juggling act, they cannot go hell for leather at Salinbas to the exclusion of other smaller prospects in W Turkey else those licenses will lapse - maintaining the licences is not simply a question of payment of a fee but being able to demonstrate progress is being made towards production. That is what i meant when I reported back that the discussions highlighted the number of ways in which any net income can be spent - dividends being just one of those ways.
