Chaps/Chapesses, could one of you confirm that prior to the tie into the AM from GWA there is more spannering to be done on our fine vessel - will that spannering be done on site or in dock somewhere. If the former will it result in downtime from production, and if so how much? Any idea who is paying for this further work to the AM, Spirit, HUR or a combination of both?

Yes 4k, I couldn't agree more. I misread at first and assumed you were talking about the NE, and thought 'hmmmm..' - I'm not saying that NE will disappoint its just that we may see several blind alleys there I think, a far from smooth ride. But I think that Kiziltepe is far from a known quantity and can see LOM (for the whole area) expand significantly.

Odd SP performance today, I exited PMO yesterday and was quite jealous at 8.30!
I wouldn't post on the SXX board today, there are a lot of people who have now lost immense amounts on this 'sure fire' project. I'm sure that this project will eventually be a success, but like so many similar projects I very much doubt the original equity holders will enjoy that success. There seemed to be so much fuss about it in the PI community that I did look at it myself but thankfully decided it wasn't my thing because this outcome was always a possibility (or probability). Good luck to them though.

The first few turbines that appeared (proper big f*** off ones, not the silly little windmills with 2 blades) were fascinating and strangely lovely. But as time rolls on and they proliferate exponentially I agree that their attraction has dwindled significantly.

VanVan, financially I cant see many surprises in the interims but the commentary will be interesting. Talking of finance, the production for Q3 will be available in October but not the financial result - that wont be available until November although we can have a good guess before that! Agree that there is other information due 'sometime', but as all us old fogeys know no news usually means a drift - wouldn't be surprised to see 2p on the bid unless there is an upwards movement in POG

I'm a Brummie, I live now about 10 miles south of 'Canuck' if its the one I'm thinking of. Sounds like a fine gal. And being a common Brummie its Shrewsbury for me (10 miles in tother direction towards Wales).
As for AAU, you tell me. Unless the RSA affects POG then we have 'sod all' news expected for a month when Q3 production figures are due. AAU tends to drift (down) when there is no news in my experience.
