Have drafted my question, which I will obviously potentially revise in light of what is said on Monday.
I would encourage others to follow this initiative by Ash. I think most agree that we have a BOD with integrity, but it does no harm to show that AAU shareholders are not merely passive but are well researched, intelligent and have ideas which should be taken notice of.

The way things are going the farmers will decide in increasing numbers that planting windmills and solar panels is more profitable and less work than working the soil. and mopping the sweat from their brow. Wonder where the food to fill the shelves will come from then?

Wow really going for the O/T! Think old and young ranting at each other has been a sport for many generations, most of us are fogeys I think and probably consider the young barmy. Generally (unless you have a surname like Corbyn or Foot) you start adult life leaning to the left and shuffle far more to the right as the grey pubes gradually arrive. Read an article about the 'yoof' yesterday in the DM, a bloke who has written 'green' books in the past but was pointing out the hypocrisy of the current generation of campaigners. Their love for gadgets containing metals so rare that to get a smidgeon requires hundreds of tons of host rock mined for a few grams.....and then flown halfway across the world. Their love of vegan food.....containing exotic veg flown (you guessed it) halfway across the world. Their love for Deliveroo, transported on sh*gged out motorbikes spewing fumes in the town centres. And best of all the latest 'fashion' of not bothering to launder clothes, one wear of something cheap n trendy from Primark or ASOS and into landfill it goes. Of course those clothes have been flown halfway across the world and possibly (given the price) made In a sweatshop using child labour. Personally I am quite trendy, I regularly wear jeans with tears and holes - particularly in the crotch area after 15 years of use. I consider them nicely broken in now.

Sadly true. It will be cheaper for the vultures to pick over the carrion after administration than inject money into the company while it is still breathing and current equity holders have some influence. As they say in mobster films 'this is business not personal'. No one should be under any illusion than hard ball will be played here, there will be no kindnesses shown. Just remember that. I personally believe the Government should step in and possibly as a GE looms then that could still conceivably happen for political reasons. There are votes in this situation, again not for compassionate reasons. That is the best hope for current equity holders imo

Sadly Stocktaker I agree. I had a cash balance sitting in my ISA just and it was a toss up between PMO or SXX as a pure punt. PMO won, I just cant see what will happen here, the vultures are circling and they aren't kind. The project will reach fruition and ultimately be a huge success, I have no doubt and would bet on it. But how much will be left in the hand of current equity holders is very, very debatable.

Having sold out on the spike I have put a toe back in the water at 77p, nothing like as many shares as before mind. I haven't really got any firm view on which direction PMO is going, but it gives me a chance to be Mr. Angry every day.

Hi Ash. I'm happy to table a question on Kizilcukur, especially as I realise that the terms of its inclusion is a bit of a hobby horse of mine! I suppose the door to such a question or indeed any question, will depend on how it is covered in the results. Its good to see some leadership from you, I think you are successfully herding us cats into action!

I still don't think that the absorption of Kizilcukur into the JV at 3 x exploration cost (ie only 1.5 x net to AAU) is in Ariana shareholders best interests financially. It is a disproportionate gift to Proccea. Ariana have an option to do it, they are under no obligation to.

Well I'm pleased I did! Maybe time to get in again soon. I cant see why this should be a trading share but that's the way its shaping up.

DJ, if by 'proper end' you mean the front then the 924 & 928 satisfy that! We did get the Alfa 164 with a 3 litre V6 which was by all accounts a wonderful sonerous engine. We also had a Thema with what was basically a 3.2 Ferrari engine from the 328. As for the DS - what an achievment, a decade or more ahead of its contempories - but in a sense ruined by an engine carried forward, I believe, from the traction avant. What a shame, suppose they had incorporated an all alloy 4 pot twin cam like Alfa did shortly after or even better a straight 6 - that would have been even more stunning that it was (1955?)

Was about to post and suggest that Ash. I would be interested in hearing the answer. I haven't got the grasp on accounting that you have (are there differences in accounting treatments of 'interest free' (ha, ha) Sharia loans?), so would be out of my depth articulating the question myself.

No I cant explain that apparent anomaly. This appeared in the most recent Quarterly update published 28th August:
'69% of the US$33 million capital loan for Kiziltepe has been repaid as at quarter ending 30 June 2019; on track to fully repay loan by April 2020'

At near parity £/$ I would appear to have a bargain! I would contest that it is hard to 'show off' in a 15 year old car....my Lotus is 20 years old now! Love then both, but I am slightly odd, as I presume you have concluded.
James Brown 'Papas got a brand new bag' on the radio. Brilliant.
My 'eurpopean' Cayman isn't underpowered...cant put into words how much it has surprised me. Its fab. The Lotus is lighter and nearly as quick....but the Porsche just feels 'engineered'. Honestly, go try one.

The only downside being 2 rear Michelin Sport 'N' rated tyres that just cost me 17,200 AAU shares!

Have to agree with Claret on this one VanVan - well i'm bound to I suppose! I have had one or 2 'interesting' cars over the years, Alfas, Morgans, Caterhams etc and the 111S Elise from new in 1999 when there were hardly any around. Despite the Cayman being nearly 15 years old I have never had so many people comment favourably on a car - even the labour candidate who can round canvassing recently liked it!! Did contemplate a quattro version of the very first TTs as it is such a classic design, but agree that's its a bit , well, you know!! Same with early metal folding roof Merc SLs and the BMW Z3 (except maybe the 3.0 or M version). Try both a Cayman and 911 back to back in quick succession - I did and there was really no doubt which I wanted as the Cayman feels part of you ( and I don't need +2 seating).
