I don't know what to think here. After an initial flurry in 2010 there was a gradual decline in SP until 2016 followed by a flatline until now. Was Dana under TC a fluke, just a product of market conditions? All I know is that I am pleased not to have held here for 10 years! When I first read about the renewables I was sceptical, I can see the majors needing to diversify but not so sure about minnows who should be able to succeed within the fossil fuel energy environment which will still (imp) be important 30 years from now, But now, with potentially support from Government green policies (and Nicola Sturgeon in particular) I'm coming round to the idea.

Agree with much of what you say, certainly don't think Ganfeng and Hanwa will welcome a takeover except at astronomic profit (Tesla, MC $400bn maybe if the logistics work for them) as their holding are strategic. But how do Ganfeng end up with 50% without dilution to us? Sounds like a placing, and surely Hanwa would want part of that action?

Seems to be some dodgy valuations going on! Who says BCN should have the same MC as LA? They aren't at the same stage, or have the same financing requirements. Or quoted on the same market for that matter.

Totally agree with the last sentence! 250 years ago we all went around by horse or steam train, lithium batteries wont be around long in the grand scheme of things.
If I could be sure that a) The current schedule would be stuck to b) lithium price will recover c) mine financing will be achieved with minimum dilution d) current financial resources prove adequate until production commences then..... I would be happy to hold as you say. However AIM is full of disappointments as we all know!

Ill concede you may be right on that one, not necessarily a CEO but probably very capable. You do need enthusiasm, just in my experience not unbridled. Something else I learned over many years of getting it wrong is beware the dominant leader unchecked by the rest of the board. And, as they say at the bottom of investment applications, past performance is not a guide to the future (Neil Woodford anyone?). Made loads in the noughties with Dana Petroleum. When that got sold the founder and driving force started with another shell company, promising a 'turbocharged' Dana. That was 10 years ago and I'm still waiting for the boost to kick in!

Think that's the point! How do you point to lost profit when the track record says there has been none. If the litigation fails then the legal fees will need to move from some sort of reserve to the bottom line. And I've never met a poor lawyer

I don't know what to make of the CEO tbh. He certainly comes across as very faltering, some of the silences are painful, and I do think that he is painful to listen to. I listened to the link someone posted yesterday to the 6th October presentation. I did listen to the end as I needed to find out as much as possible. As MrC says, I'd rather not have a brash CEO who doesn't know what he is doing. We've all suffered from them. My own experience was Norseman Gold with some loudmouth called Barry something. Got caught there. One I dodged recently was Fox Marble, whose CEO Chris Gilbert talks a good talk. But.......

Newboy I can read all of your posts today, which is enough to convince me that you haven't got a good word to say about how this company is run, hence my conclusion. You ask me sarcastically if I am a financial advisor. The answer is no, but I worked in Actuarial and Taxation. By the same token are you an expert in how to run mining companies?

I don't understand why you want to continue to hold shares in this company when recent SP rises give you an opportunity to exit. |if you think it is that badly run then take the profit and find another company you feel is better run.

Like others I would like an RNS to indicate why the rise has occurred over the past week. Just hope it isn't just hot air, momentum, snake and mirrors which could, of course, reverse. Interesting lack of obvious profit taking?

Surprised Parkmead didn't react to the PMs announcement about wind farms, which implied help in their development?

Having once held here I keep watching but nothing makes me want to dip back in at present. Nothing ever seems to materialise. And as for trying to sue the Kosovan government for wads of cash then hope to keep an operation there (which I assume is the plan). Might be possible here but would you fancy doing that in Kosovo? Id be worried about a knock on the door in the middle of the night. Not for me thanks
