My calcs show an uplift of about 0.7% if you hold on to RCDO shares from today until the tail end of October, which is the earliest to receive the full £4.30 per share (hard earned experience tells me if could be later!).

Didn't see the point so sold my 2013 shares bought 3 weeks ago. I am now RCDO free for the last time unless there is an inexplicable (and highly unlikely) dip to about £4.20.

Any suggestions how I might spend my £30 of gains? 3 pints and a bag of salt and vinegar in a London pub maybe?

Surprised that posters on ADVFN are taken aback by the announcement that the ASX placing price is the equivalent of 1.34p. The information to work that out was contained in at least 2 RNS announcements 6 weeks ago. The only thing marginally affecting in the interim was a slight variation in the AUD/ Sterling exchange rate in the period.

Surprised by this, thought the ASX trading was set for 15th September.

What I would like, and what I wont get, is a definitive timetable that they intend to actually stick to in Zimbabwe. We have had too many of these apparently infinitely extendable timelines. As has be pointed out before, the Tavsan heap leach has been extended countless times and still seems to be next month, next quarter, next year. That is one of the main reasons why there is such a credibility problem with this management amongst LTHs,

I would expect news, not sure what, this week before September 15th.

Not sure what will happen to the SP next Monday, the SP is standing nearly 40% above the ASX placing price. Will there be profit taking in Australia. Will buyers seek to top up, if yes then what the liquidity be given that it was a relatively small placing?

I have other questions such as where will future RNS be announced, in ASX or here. I am already assuming that future cash raises will take place in Australia.

Was reading the other day of the demise of the Brew Dog bubble (literally, I think its horrible fizzy stuff)

Anyway after the years of conning people that they were different, cool and trendy they are now exposed as the normal corporate purveyors of ordinary, overhyped fizz who treat their employees with contempt and, if you believe some stories, abuse. As a result they have been dropped by over 2000 pubs and shut several of their own company owned bars.

The result is that 'spoons is now their biggest stockist, I think by far. Now I have no complaints about 'spoons as a consumer or as a shareholder (apart form the occasional bumpy ride). I wouldn't however like to be a supplier - if Brew Dog lose 'spoons it looks like the game is over for them, so I imagine Tim and Co will nail them to the floor when it comes to pricing! Put it this way, if I were given the opportunity to buy into Brew Dog I would politely refuse.

I am such a drama queen, despite what I said previously I just bought another 500.

Years from production, no money to develop a mine, bad omen Peter Secker on the board, spells.......

They are pinning their hopes on the EU providing grants because of the importance of the car industry. There is abundant lithium in the earths crust and who knows how long there will be demand due to batteries where better solutions might be found before this mine is ever in production (which will be years). A mine will cost many times the current market cap, how does that happen without massive dilution in the absence of grants?

As an investor you have to consider whether a single ounce will ever be produced here. I sincerely hope I'm wrong for all those invested, but I've seen too many AIM companies like this crash and burn. GLA

Pubs come and go, as do dozens of restaurants. But 'spoons is a British Institution and like a comfy shoe! It not really clear yet whether they will be able to capitalise on others declines but it does seem like a safe, if not exciting, place for your money, in that it is unlikely to fail with the added bonus of a re-established dividend after years without. Not sure where the focus on prices should be. The reputation of 'spoons is based on headline figures like £2 ales, although in truth there are very many buying Guinness and craft beer. I don't think that, other than tea and coffee, food is that cheap really but it is obviously important as drinkers see the meals being served and get the munchies! No one expects haute cuisine, I overheard one punter the other day explaining to his accomplice 'the breakfasts are really good but this is Wetherspoons so don't expect everything to be the same temperature!'

Sadly, as I said a few days ago, I think the recent SP euphoria was a bit premature. Yes most of the pubs are busy, but there are still the consequences of the 2024 Budget to reach the bottom line. I reiterate that I wont be selling my 1000 shares any time soon, but note that the drift continues and who think it will stop soon?

I've quit. Just seems that its a jam tomorrow company that constantly is reporting that business has suffered delays but there are early signs of recovery - Until the next presentation when they say it again.

And of course HS2 is now a thing of the past which is one of my original attractions. Even the yield is less than you will get on accessible deposit accounts.

My view is that the short term the best chance of a decent return is a bid, not that it has been hinted at, and its not worth holding out for that.

Due to my ins and outs my latest 1000 shares, bought a month ago at £7.54, overall have cost me £3.78 each.

Still don't think I want to invest further unless they do, as you say, up the prices by 10% or so across the board. We haven't seen the impact of idiot Reeves changes to NI and minimum wage changes yet that came into force April. Without price increases or sustained footfall increases it was predicted that these moronic business taxes would wipe out JDWs profits.

I thought the same thing a few days back and wondered if these results were some indication of the (North Eastern?) extension at Dokwe that we were recently informed of although I didn't think it had been drilled yet let alone analysed.

If you look at the most recent written presentation on the Ariana Website under Investors/ Presentations/ June 2025 you see most of these figures there on page 14.

Dont know why, I thought it was form of auction and I had read that there was a guidance range of price.

So at current exchange rate I think the issue is at c.1.35p, about a 25% discount to the current SP. Since the listing on ASX isn't expected until mid September I guess we can all go to sleep. Hard to predict the effect, will the UK SP drift towards the ASX listing price (allowing for that price representing 10 UK shares) or will a premium be expected in early trading in Australia due to unsatisfied demand?

I don't post often but I expected a period of settling down after all the recent newsflow, ASX listing and excitement about residual ore at Telfer while combined with the significant period until the main resource reaches production. As previously stated I sold enough to be be left with a decent holding at zero cost. They are now on my bottom drawer and I will leave them untouched for now.
