Profit - agree that GR is releasing news a bit at a time and I also believe this to be a good thing.
But PREM's future is all but assured now, which it wasn't on Friday. I would have thought this was big news, but what do I know!?
Let's see how the day ends.
Only 20 minutes in, but I'm a little disappointed with the SP. so far.
I have to admit, I thought the positive vote and confimration of a new agreemnt with Canmax would see the SP closer to 0.7, not now struggling to stay above 0.6.
As the Telegramp group would say, great opportunity to top up.
Short and to the point RNS. Much better splitting this up from the deal itself. I still expect SP to rise today as there are 2 major bits of official news in the RNS. The vote and a new deal. When we see the new deal officially, another day for the SP to rise.
Smiler - tend to agree. Some of the commentators here should be embarrassed with themselves for their ridiculous comments.
A placing may well happen, but why would it be before GR’s money has run out? Why would it tomorrow, so at a lower SP than otherwise? This assumes an SP rise tomorrow and this holds higher than now of course - something incredibly likely, given the uncertainty has been reduced.
Not to mention that a placing in itself may not even be a bad thing for shareholders depending on the circumstances and how the money is used. If it’s to secure PREM’s future, how the hell is that bad for shareholders?!?!
Clueless - tend to agree re GR and his best case scenario. That is partly what got us into this mess in the first place, by giving no leeway in the orginal timescale and thus missing the delivery schedule on which Canmax have been aggrieved.
Always need to add time to what GR says.
Having said that, very confident now in PREM's future and also pleased with how GR has handled the situation.
Redtrade - I'd like to agree with your post and say well done to all holders here who held on to their shares through the last few turbulentand uncertain months. We will be rewarded very well, very soon.
It is not over yet and there will be more hiccups on the way (when no doubt those that have relentlessly attacked PREM and it's shareholders on this board will return). But we are getting there and yesterdays meeting was more than one step forward. It was a giant leap.
Secret trader - a candidate for the most stupid post ever. The stock market isn’t open currently. Those that are in, are already in. RNS expected before market opens. No-one will have a chance to buy. What gamble are you on about?
You really need to improve your deramping efforts.
Saw some of the meeting on zoom. One of GR's more convincing performances I thought.
Mostly sounded very encouraging. Stark seem to be the issue now and took a bit of a pasting from GR.
No SC6 expected I reckon now in August, which is a little disappointing, but in the grand scheme of things no big deal if the changes to the plant being implemented are successful
Canmax voting "yes" is clearly positive and an RNS detailing the deal expected on Monday. GR indicated that he has conceded some ground on the old deal, but not a lot apparently and it's not too dissimiliar to the last deal. Await the RNS Monday.
Loads more that others have covered earlier.
Enjoyed what I saw.
I expect the KOD bus to arrive soon stating what a "car crash" it was. It wasn't. It was mostly very good.
Onwards and upwards Monday!
Steward - your plan's A, B & C are spot on. Although long term SP I'm not sure that would be my order of preference. Short term, defintiely A is best. As you say, GR has put us in a position where any of those will be fine long term.
Steward - 100% Canmax wanted Zulu on the cheap. But GR played his card very well indeed.
I think your idea on a deal being dependent on a positive vote from Canmax is a good shout.
But even if the vote is against and thus the motion lost, whilst things will remain choppy for a little longer than otherwise, GR won't be giving up Zulu and shareholders will be rewarded.
We await with interest tomorrow.
Steward - lots of different possibilities. But the way Canmax vote will speak volumes.
No-one has indicated they are going. I think it's possible a representative from Canmax will be there to vote in person. Be interesting the reception they get if they vote no!
