Noises coming out of Ukraine, Zelensky's office in particular of late indicates he may finally be beginning to see sense in ending the conflict. In the past 3 days he has said; he wants to meet Xi Jinping of China to discuss Russia; then he says he cannot send any more men to front line without receiving the equipment promised by the west; he also said that he will be under pressure to 'compromise' with Putin if Russian forces take the city of Bakhmut. Add to this, we have not seen Ukraine gaining any ground from Russia of late and there's reports of Ukraine losing up to 500 men daily on the battle fields.
Is Zelensky getting Ukraine ready to accept defeat and compromise?
Let's hope so for the sake of both the ordinary Ukranians and Russians.

chippy??....Iraq was never going to be a viable option for sometime to come as ISIL and Al Qaeda were running rampant at the time and total lack of government after disastrous US UK invasion. Further, future Iraq would be Shia dominated and where Iran would have a big say as to who can run the pipes through the country; if Iran cannot get the gas to europe they would make sure Qatar or any other country in mid east wouldn't be able to either through Iraq.

Doesn't mean anything as lot of factors are keeping USD exch rates high eg. high interest rates in US at present. Also, countries inclusing China is holding trillions of USD in total in reserves. If China alone emptied its USD reserves, it would cause quite a stir in USD exchange rates, but they will bide their time until moment is right for them. USD will not decline overnight, rather a lengthy process spanning decades just like sterling in the 20th century.
Further history have shown that there are significant tensions when one power is about to usurp another; especially when they're not on friendly terms like China and US. In such times GOLD is KING currency.

bb..I respect Qatar based and government owned al jazeera, except it's reporting on Syria. It was Qatar who initially fermented instability in Syria through backing of ISIL and Al Qaeda and they were quickly joined by Israel and the Saudis. They wanted to overthrow Assad for their own reasons.
Apparently, Qatar wanted to run gas pipeline from Qatar to Europe but Syria's Assad refused on Russian request as it would compete with Russian gas. Only reason Russians are involved and getting killed in Syria is to stop Qatari gas reaching Europe; nonetheless, Russians are in Syria at the request of the Syrian government. Syria wants US out of Syria but US refuse to leave; apparently the pro-Israeli lobbies in the US wants US to have physical military presence in Syria indefinately. Russia does NOT want US presence in Syria, contrary to your assertions.
I recomment you not only read the news but get a head transplant to have ability to understand how the world goes around.

Yet another lie to add to long list of lies pedalled by bb. US have been involved in Syria since 2014 and still occupies part of Syria today. Not only that, US is stealing approx 80,000 barrells of Syrian oil each day to pay for their occupation costs and more.

Simply put, less harder the currency of the country, more the need for it to balance it's books ie. living within its means. Both the US and UK before that used it to terrorise the world cos it enabled it to spend massively on defence expenditure without accounting for it. As they say, strong USD needs strong US military and strong US military needs strong USD. A 'weaker' USD should bring about global equilibrium amongst powers and hence contribute towards global peace.

France and EU knows that China plan is the only game in town to end the conflict. US UK is not interested in wellbeing of Europe and only interested in weakening China/Russia axis; so they will want to fight Russia to the last Ukranian. Ukraine destiny and long term wellbeing lies within EU, who will be providing economic aid to Ukraine for decades to come, whilst US UK will just walk away as usual eg. Iraq, Libya etc. Zelensky's incompetence in the run up to war have resulted in Ukraine losing territory, so he is going along with US UK to win back territory; he knows otherwise he will be remembered as the leader who lost 20% of Ukraine land to Russia. Losers in all this are ordinary Ukranians and EU taxpayer who will foot the bill for Ukraine's reconstruction. It is crystal clear that both the EU and China are desperately seeking peaceful resolution whilst the warmongers US UK only interested in fanning the flames. China's rise and demise of the USD cannot come soon enough to restore global equilibrium.

ICC can hear cases and throw them out if evidence don't stack up...simple as. What you are saying is anything filed against US or Israel in ICC should be classed as partisan and therefore dismissed, and everything against Russia and other countries is non-partisan and therefore should be heard. You really are pathetic and should stop posting rubbish immediately.

Simplyme...easy hold for me too. Inventory gets sold and used and increased production in 2024 as heavy Russian investments starts contributing to the bottom line. The price this time next year should be substantially higher; war or no war and as long as POLY does not get embroiled in western sanctions.

I personally fully support ICC; ICC that is allowed to get on with its work and take action against any party which it feels have committed crimes.

The threat of US sanctions overhangs ICC all the time. No way US will ever allow any of it's citizens to stand trial at ICC in the Hague. My question again is...if US have nothing to fear from ICC, why does it not join?
