I'm surprised to learn you have time on your hand to deal with anyone outside this board; it seems you are permanently parked here.
Further, since you're talking about all things shipping, I note no one has mentioned China's 'one belt one road' initiative launched over 10 years ago to which 151 countries have signed up so far, and to which the west have no answer. On my travels over recent years, I have witnessed this first hand and it is impressive. The infrastrucure including roads, rails, ports is a very much big part of it.

In fact, FXPO will be increasingly switching to supply EU buyers going forward cos tariff free concessions offered to Ukraine by EU. Regards buckeye comments on cash flow, yes I should have mentioned 'all things equal' ie. no additional/increased capital expenditure which POLY said they have done in Russia especially etc. And yes of course POLY is 'only' selling gold in return for cash; they're not accepting sausages in exchange...are they?

If I recall, interest bill for 2021 was about $70m; even if this doubles which it won't have, it fails in comparison to the divis witheld amounting to approx $600m for 2021 (POLY paid $636m divis for 2020) alone and there's more cash piled up for 2022. We wait to see if company have used any spare cash to pay down debt. In fact IF POLY used all cash saved in divis to pay down debt, the debt levels would fall to beow $500m (from $1.65bn at end of 2021). Of course, in times of uncertainties any company would want to hold onto cash and that is what we expect POLY will do.

Really cannot wait until next week preliminary updates. With current uncertainties surrounding teh stock, no news is bad news. Next wekk will provide pointers on range of issues. Based on what company have supplied to date for 2022, production will be a little lower, sales income little lower as well (slightly lower gold prices) and the costs will have risen due to strong ruble during 2022 and inflation. This will affect figures right down the line, but nevertheless will still be strong. Cash position will be strong due to absence of divis and despite rise in interest charges. To accompany preliminaris, POLY may also shed some light on other matters like redom, and if this is half decent, it will push provide renewed impetus to the sp....fingers x'd
This company isn't going broke anytime soon; it is highly profitable, has valuable assets and loads of cash....currently caught up in the cross-fire.

If a dilution happens with $800m worth of new shares, it will hardly put a dent in the problems ahead and each share then would be worth about 0.16p each against the current price of 2.75p. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to work out that you'll need about 7 of these new fellas to get 1p.

Important not to get too carried away with such news. Mooky & Co are doing just fine right now in sunny Israel; they know they have to be seen to be doing 'something' to justify ch.11 protection.

I mention India specifically; when us British went to India it was a first world country on measures applicable then, responsible for approx 25% of world GDP with immense wealth and thriving academia. When we left India in 1947, it was responsible for less than 4% of world gdp; we closed down education, built courts to put down descent and built railways to ship the loot out. We turned India from a 'developed' country to a third world country within 250 years and left it living in SQUALOR. Britain did benefit some countries like US, Canada, Australia cos they made these countries their home. Furthermore, lets not beat about the bush, did you know we no longer teach our children about the British empire in schools; it is as though it didn't exist. We teach them about life under the Nazis, but not life under British empire. Lastly, India was a colony when the current form of UN was set up in 1945, and Britain blocked India being allocated a seat at top table in the UN despite its large population.
Indian people do not lack enterprise as you may have witnessed around you, but we the British beat it out of them and made them subservient over 250 years. So careful when you use the words living in SQUALOR.
