Company doesn't generate enough cash to pay interest let alone repay debt. Problems only gets bigger; opportunity nevertheless for those sensible enough wanting out with something.

Westy54...you've got the wrong understanding; redom can be done within 6-8 weeks according to company IR, but POLY mgt have allocated 12 months to do other due dil with likes of HMRC, brokers etc and should there be a peaceful outcome and sanctions removed, then redom idea can be shelved. Once redom happens and then there is peace with Russia, it would be difficult for POLY to move primary listing back to London; authorities in Kaz (where company also mines gold) will see that not in a favourable mode as they are trying to establish AIX as a prominent international exchange. They will feel greatly used and that could impact awarding of future licenses.

Show me an out and out cinema chain whose sp today is worth more than it was 10 years ago? AMC, Ciniplex, Cineworld are all struggling, and CINE lot more than the other two. I would get out whilst there's still miniscule of value left. CINE is on life support...only a flicker of a switch away from switching off for good.

Those studios will be pumping out streaming stuff; may be simultaneous release with cinemas. It will mostly be of low budget cos of sheer demand for new films etc from the streaming public. Cinemas have seen their best days. If cinemas was the future, why don't these companies like Sky or Comcast go out and buy a cinema chain?

Regards re-domiciliation, I do recall talking to POLY investor relations on few occasions, and impression I got was that they wanted to get POLY absolutely RE-DOMICILE READY but not actually pull the trigger until the very last minute and when they feel forced to do so. POLY IR also stressed to me on more than one occasion that 'all wars come to an end', so placing hopes on war ending so they don't have to make the decision. I think 12 month lead time (which is more than ample) to any 'potential' re-domiciliation supports these assumptions!

Trend is definitely up and it's not going below £2.20 no matter what. Absolute worst case scenario still leaves it with business in Kaz and that's got to be worth £5 at the very least. Russian business is having very disproportionate effect on POLY sp and the mgt is forced to walk the tight rope as regards re-domiciliation; you do it now and war ends then it could be counter productive; leave it to later then POLY risks getting caught out in the sanctions. The fact it has escaped many rounds of UK/EU sanctions must have provided some hope and relief that it will be ok on US and europe angle, yet it cannot afford to ignore Russia and developments within regards new exploration and able to pay divis. Whilst Russian authorities will stop cash leaving the country, it will continue to allow POLY and the likes to continue trading and building industrial infrastructure cos it is adding to the economy.

There's more films produced than ever but most are cheap mediocre ones to meet streaming demands, and that is not going to change going forward. Also, simultaneous cinema/streaming release of films doesn't help matters either and that will increase with time cos likes of Rank, Comcast and Netflix producing their own movies. Soon, gone will be the days when cinemas had a exclusive 90 days run before film appeared on streaming. Cinemas will have to re-invent and even then it will be struggle.

No I'm not shorting this or any other stock for that matter. I did hold CINE when it was 79p but got out making a small loss once I got to learn of a massive hole in their finances. Think movie going is a dying industry which cannot be revived even if you paid people to go watch movies at the cinemas.

Ultimate Stress Test will be when the curtains finally comes down; how will the stock holders take that? They can only blame themselves as signs of CINE demise has been long coming.

@BSR...recent Chinese peace plan have caused panic amongst US arms manufacturers; guns they've hired in the US Senate will fight every inch to ensure war is prolonged. Losers will be the US taxpayer and ordinary Ukranians.

bb...Iran has more chance of been invaded by Britain than by Russia. Britain WITH Russia invaded Iran in 1941, and Britain with US overthrew a democratically elected government of Iran led by Mossdegh in 1953 cos he wanted to nationalsie oil in Iran. They installed Shah in power who went onto nationalise all oil in Iran few years later. UK and US are again threatening Iran over different issues.

POLY should start to perk up a bit in the next few days:
Gold price holding up and may even be bottoming out and starting another upward trajectory
USD Ruble excahnge rate at pre-war level
POLY dodging yet another round of EU sanctions
POLY mgt have repeatedly said that production levels are normal
POLY preliminary results out on 16th March
Results should confirm good year of trading with reduction in debt helped by POLY unable to pay divis
On the negative side there remains this issue of re-domiciliation which may yet not happen as the war reaches the endgame in coming months. One can see desire for peace on all sides, but question is how and when do we get it started?

OOO...you're correct and most said is total bull**** and doesn't even stack up eg. "Russia tries to bully another neighbour like Iran and somebody like ****stan donates some nukes so Iran can face off Russia, and Iran simply decides to nuke Moscow remembering the false promises given to Ukraine and the eventual consequences."
Facts are Iran is not Russia's neighbour, it was not a member of old Soviet Union and Russia have been proactive in actually building Iran's nuclear industry under Putin eg. the Bushehr nuclear plant

Zelensky messed up big time; completely miscalculated situation at the begining. This war need not have happened at all. If Zelensky could go back in time, he would accept almost all Russian demands...they were not unreasonable and the difficult one like Crimea, he could have negotiated. If he accepts these conditions now, then people would say why did so many Ukranians had to die. He portrays himself as Ukranian strong man, but in many eyes he fkd up big time. Not to forget, he did not believe US UK who said Russia was about to invade; he accused them of scare mongering, He should have reached out to Russia and said can we talk. All this will come out in the wash when Ukranians will be allowed to debate freely. Right now, Ukranians have to show united front, but when conflict is over and dust settles, we will get to know it all. One thing for sure, now that Russia have spilt so much blood, they will want more than what they wanted at the begining, which was:
1) Ukraine to cede Crimea to Russia
2) Ukraine to drop membership bid to join NATO as pet Minsk agreement
3) Ukraine to enshrine protection for Russian culture/language in it's constitution
4) Ukraine to provide autonomy to Donbas (similar to home nations within UK)
5) Ukraine to reign in on right wing elements in Donbas making life a misery for ethnic Russians

@BUYSELLREPEAT...think this is exactly what will happen. If Ukraine manages to drive back Russian forces, then NATO may ahve change of mind. Come August, I think you will hear of peace overtures loud and clear. I just cannot see Ukraine dislodging Russians from its territory.
