Further, CINE did receive govt Covid assistance in the form of furlough payments and business rates concessions. Also, I am in no doubt CINE also took advantage of govt business bounce back loan scheme where they could borrow huge sums without the need to prove credit worthiness, and which the taxpayer will end up writing off.
Given corpoarte decisions CINE had taken just prior to Covid, the company would have struggled even if Covid hadn't happened just like all other cinema businesses
