CWWX..and why would the creditors (new CINE owners) want to carry a monkey on their back all the time. Gets in the way of their strategic decision making eg. how any disposals are treated for the purpose of this future valuation reward model? How much rate of return should creditors be allowed on their investment without facing confrontation from current CINE SH? etc etc

BSR...I'm just about old enough to remember vaguely when Ireland and UK signed a Good Friday Agreement. There were elements within IRA and Sinn Fein who were dead against it and even formed what became known as Continuous IRA. They argued UK had to completely withdraw for them to accept the deal, but in reality they were more concerned with the gravy train which was about to stop when peace broke out.

Ukraine is a much more corrupt country and the conflict is on a mega scale with mega amounts of money poured into Ukraine. One can't help thinking that a similar scenario is playing out where the top brass wants the conflict to simmer on for a while until they have properly filled their coffers; and of course at the expense of ordinary Ukranians.

I've been reading lot lately about the spending spree going on various exotic destinations in Europe and the buyers are almost always Ukeranians. Why all of a sudden there's so many visible wealthy Ukeranians? Where's all the money coming from when the country is mostly destroyed?

BSR..some of the issues you mention 'may' be relevant for him to step down as Defence Secretary, but he is also stepping down as MP and he will only be 54 next year, so I think there may be other issues. His constituency disappearing is correct, but I think an MP in one of neighbouring constituency is retiring and with BW popularity he would have had no problem being selected as candidate there either.

I suspect there may be something more serious for him to quit politics at such a young age.

Economy is always a top priority in any election with global warming in 4th place. I myself think it should be at the top with economy but sadly it won't be.

Also of interest is the issue of international conflict which is way down.

Whilst CINE took advantage of the furlough schemes by the millions, access to government business bounce back loans was limited to just £50k per business and that is neither here or there. And thank God for that as well cos Mooky would have been first in line to claim it and not pay it back, leaving the tax payer high and dry just like CINE shareholders.

Given corpoarte decisions CINE had taken just prior to Covid, the company would have struggled even if Covid hadn't happened just like all other cinema businesses

No matter what, Biden won't stop the funding. Ukraine have Biden by his balls; Ukraine have too much on Hunter Biden which Trump tried to get released before last US elections but failed. If Trump returns to power, funding will stop on day one as he will be keen to take revenge and Zelensky knows that.

The clue is in the article. It says Mooky and his brother received vast majority of the cash. Why would Israel Greidingdong (deputy CEO) receive huge sums? This is because he is a shareholder in Mooky family company which holds over 20% CINE.

Once again, please provide an example of an obscene payout to an executive for loss of office resulting from company going into receivership.
