Steady as she....11 May 2017 07:40
Once the funding factor is arranged hopefully not a RI or OO poss a D4E
or similar the sp can start the long road back to 16 (last seen 4/15). I have little doubt Sphere will raise the cash but at what cost and how much blood will lenders extract? TD reckon £7-8m will be needed and should see us through 18 once sales start to come in as a year from now we could have 20-40 hospitals using P and connections substantially higher than the 150 last reported. Once P becomes embedded in hospitals revenues might exceed cash outflows quicker than we think. Don't want to get ahead of the game but prospects definitely look much brighter than when the sp was at 90-40-16-10-7!
Remember it's estimated 12m arterial lines are in place each year so potentially we could achieve 10%
which gives us the £200m mrkt size. At a guess Sphere has been de-risked by at least 80% since the IPO leaving 20% risk to sales, production & supply. Go back a year and where we're we? I'll tell you, not CE marked, not in production, no distributors, no sales, no added analytes, little news flow, continuing spend on mfg, no hospital orders,
P seen as strictly c/care use etc, etc.... That's a huge turnaround in 12 months! While Sphere has been transformed and on a growth path
the sp reverts to the mean.
