You like betting 'in running' rev? Must admit I like cos who keep to regular dates for announcements etc...it helps if your trading the stock!...not that I am. Expect to hear in next 2 weeks latest.

Morning rev. Never been one for dividends particularly of the pittance variety. Much rather they kept the cash and invested for our benefit. Accept that iis much prefer divi paying companies to keep all those expensive advisors in Bolly! Now if they offered shares in lieu of cash I'd go along with that.

What we have here is a severe case of the roundophobics which I'm hoping the update will push us past but don't hold your breath. Investors have had ample opportunity to see 20+ but always pull away at the thought. Not sure why as the fundamentals would support a higher sp, perhaps it's an aversion to investing in Africa and associated geo political stuff or AIM sector worries? Perhaps investors don't get down to the Z'ees? None of those worry me more than investor indifference that's a killer to most companies. A good set of numbers might reverse investor malaise but if not perhaps one might reassess your position.... that nothing will significantly raise the sp and so look for pastures new.

Spo was a much better bet with the pools division as a take over target. Without the pools div Spo has lots to prove even with such a healthy bank balance. We have lost a 40%+ GP earner with great cash flow for a step into the beyond and uncertain about how we are going to spend our winnings. So what makes us so attractive without our main bread winner and what price could we command? If you pencil in c £12-13m ebita that would equate to c 6-7pps or 15x earnings. Add our cash reserves and that might be us fully valued atm as we don't know where we are going to find the c £45m+ revs provided by the pools. While we wait for the sale to complete are we near to making a significant acquisition?

Morning noggers. No just HOC..I shall concentrate on my main holding and massive loser down from the IPO (92) to 6-7!! and dribble out my other two shares showing profits (good grief!!). One loser is enough for me at my time of life! Good luck with your investments.

Shares Mag speculate that SPO could be a take over target...good grief! Cant access full article as I won't subscribe to on line publications. The day they stopped printing the physical copy was it for me. How long before the IC follow suit and lose another reader?

That's what you get when you post good results! Not much point investing in shares when a Co is penalised for doing an excellent job. One almost hopes the results are dire and the shares will rocket up...oh if only that was the case! I said two years ago if I can get out even in Sphr that would be my lot with the London market as there was too much skullduggery and pis were being taken for a ride. I sold out here taking a loss in a Co that I consider to be well managed and with excellent prospects but my wealth and health won't be best served here. I'm not surprised I didn't make money here as I rarely do in any stock..... that's from a lth position/view and regretably we are a dying breed practically forced into day trading for a turn. Well that's not for me and good luck to those who do because it seems the only way you can stay above break-even. My short stay here has not been a happy one, entirely my own fault of course but good luck to those with a stronger constitution than me.

Consider the Tory party's achievement in the face of figs showing that some 50% of households receive more from the state than they pay in taxes which should lead to an inbuilt electoral disadvantage...ie don't vote for right wing parties but vote for the party that spends the most on benefits etc...giving the Labour left a distinct bias, you'd have thunk! Yet the Tories surge on and up in the polls and head teachers popularity increases. How so? She was grammar-school educated, a vicars daughter from a lower middle class background, not interested in money and a 'remainer' who has changed her mind. Corbins toxic policies on the economy and defense have all but done for him. Should the 'blues' win they must continue cutting taxes, building houses, reducing the size of the state and doing something about the majority living off the minority.

Solid if unspectacular (don't know why I was thinking that?) No doubt the market has already 'priced- in' (hate that expression) covers a myriad of slack, loose journalistic terms and we will slip back today on....well you put in the reasons! Happy that there are no clouds on the horizon and meeting the forecast nos should hopefully see the shares reflect increased profits etc...not that it did in Boohoo's case Sales up 51% /Profits up 97% /sp down!...bit obvious that I grant you! See how we go in the 'casino hour' this morning.

Current short positions above 0.5% are Black Rock (1.27%) & M.Wace LLP (0.64%) c 970k shares or days to clear c 1. Both reduced slightly in April at c 272 & 283 respectively. Be interesting to see what Black Rock do in the coming days with their balance of 644k shares still in the money. Whatever its a tiny % and not really worth worrying about. I remember TUL had a huge nos of shorts which I estimated would have taken 10 d-t-c. (They still have around 15-16% short) or near 15m shares. Replicated here would be 81m shares out on loan!

Volcano don't concern yourself with broker price targets. Believe me they are worse than your average disinterested pis plucking nos out of thin air and invariably self-serving. I could give chapter and verse on this but wouldn't want to waste my time or yours! Trumps tax cuts may not seem all they propone to be...we shall see when the 'small' print is released. Obvious beneficiaries would be consumer spending and companies having more cash to grow their businesses. We shall see..

These "unexplained" drops LOL! are far too frequent and widespread throughout LSE to be sheer coincidence!. I'm not one for conspiracy theories but jeez ya gotta wonder at the blatant tactics of the Barrow boys. As for the Financial Craven Authority...words fail me & that would be a first!
