I should have clarified spivs v pis. Imo spivs are city sharks wholly dependent on trading for their living and are invariably shorters and share pushers. The average pis is employed or retired and likes a gambol on stocks but is not wholly dependent on the returns! In a way I quite admire some pis who are prepared to bet upwards of £10k on a punt. I don't mind betting £10k but I need time to be on my side....a long time!!

I take it you mean by 'uninterested investors' those who check the risers board for speculative forays seeking a quick turn? Those sorts we do not need but it's a by-product of rising share prices and little one can do about it. I suppose it's better than having a bunch of short sellers infecting a Co share price. As longterm investors are a dying breed they are often forced into account trading as chronically undervalued co stocks give them no avenues to make money in the short to medium term (1-3) years. I very much doubt your average pis is dependent on dividends as you would need a large portfolio of blue chip stocks to give you £10k+ so takes a chance on quick returns. From reading many boards it seems few manage to consistently make money as the city sharks are 'better informed' ahemmm! and are ahead of you anyways. That's the reason I do not speculate or look for a quick turn as a Co fundamentals mean little, it's only momentum that speculators are interested in. You may as well bet on raindrops falling down a mirror. Rising share prices should be backed up by strong company trading and solid balance sheets and not spivs/concert parties punting in & out of stocks. The London market is polluted by short terminisum and co stocks are viewed as no more than casino chips placed by the high rollers and hedgies. I'd like to bet the average time a stock is held is well below one year for most, personally I think 3 years is the minimum (particularly in early stage cos) but it takes a hard nosed investor to see 5 years out on an investment when the odds and 'forces' are stacked against you. WB attests to that.... unfortunately few of us are WB!

It's well out of date and word for word a copy of Rencken's commercial update of weeks back. Perhaps some good will come of it but honestly I doubt it. Sellers getting the upper hand as always, a tiny spike lasts about 3-4 days before sellers move in. Unfortunately this stock has very little staying power to go with the miniscule interest.

Sentiment, perception, supply & demand have all become more positive since the beginning of the year. Of course the sp doesn't reflect this but it never has, so I'm not that worried as long as Sphere is attracting hospital interest & orders. So far so good. We're only 5 months into selling P4 and we have to wait for Hospitals to complete their assessments so the orders will be governed by their buying procedures once testing is complete. We have 4 so far, by year end we will need upwards of 20+ which is a tiny % of what we are aiming for if you include neonates & sepsis patients. Anyone who has been here a year or more can afford to wait another 12-18 months to see how this pans out as your avc will not be over 10-11 so hardly a disaster....compared to some! Regarding production Rencken said they can meet their immediate requirements and for all I know may have other suppliers? Let's put pressure on the supply chain by orders!! As to the jibbers... er sorry jobbers wonder how they would react to 1000 deals a day instead of the leisurely 5-10?
