A buy! Rare as hens teeth these days! That big sell yesterday cost somebody £10k. Jeez why not dribble it out in 40-50k lots certainly wouldn't have cost anything like £10k. Three lots would have cost me no more than £40 tops. I sure as hell would'nay done it! I might regret that last statement.

I have always tried to anticipate market / share price moves. My mistake was doing it with my cash! I realised years too late that I should have been mentally speculating on future moves (which i did) but waiting for confirmation that I was correct or not......and then move with my cash (which I did not). Getting in too early has cost me dear not only here I might add! Once I have decided to buy I cannot resist plunging in for fear of losing on the leg up....Big mistake! Decide to buy then wait, wait & wait some more until your judgement proves correct. Don't argue with the tape (another failing of mine) markets are never wrong. Opinions mostly are, as is IF a stock will move, no no no. It's WHEN a stock moves you act. I kinda know the theory but rarely practice it. Hope you guys don't fall into the same traps as I have done in the past!

Cannot stress enough the importance of the top line. It's the first no I look at in any report. Sales and revenues for without those you are doomed. Fix the top line and the rest take care of themselves. Lines 2-20 can be fixed if they are out of whack (costs etc..) so let's count the money coming in.....not counting what's left, we can do that later on!

Some interesting posts late on today. Lgo-fan confirming the tortuous process of getting ones product onto the NHS approved supplier list. The 9-12 month period seems the minimum which hopefully Sphere has passed through by now. What always worried me was did we have enough staff to conduct those hospital demo's? Guess we did. Italy should give us a fair indication of how having a local distributor is working out vis a vis our own sales force. Not sure how big a market Italy is but let's face it anything more than a couple of hispitals will be a start. Another bug bear of mine is the lack of the boards investment in the Co however as Del says it's their cash and they may not think much of Sphere's future progress, who knows? Second guessing bods motives is a waste of time. I disagree cellis I don't think I deserve anything from Sphere, being a longish holder here gives me no more right than someone who bought yesterday but I get your point. Believe me you have to be lucky, incredibly lucky in these start ups to come out on top. Most eat shareholders money by the bucket load and wither away never to be heard again. We may be different. We will soon find out. Next year will be make or break for Sphere we should be nearing profitability if sales are better than expected. If hospitals using P are less than 30-40 ( revised down from my 60) throughout UK & Europe I'd say the future was bleak. That would be 2 full years of sales so c 1 hospital added to the list per month from current. I know an ex Sales Manager of mine would have booted me out the door if I delivered those nos! Perhaps one a month is good? If Sphere's intent is to have 60% of Europe covered by this year's close what exactly does that mean? Is that product availability or actual sale(s) and would that not indicate a big increase in hospitals ordering P? Too early to tell and I agree with lgo-fan meaningful nos are at least four quarters away from here, say H1 2018. We may not be self sufficient by then but the direction of travel will be on the right side of the road. Our fate will largely be known and may have already been decided by Woodford & Co.

This is headed sub 5 if sales update disappoints after all by Sept Sphere will have had nearly 9 months flogging P4 around the UK & Europe. Simple peeps you either believe sales are strong and on an upward path or take the opposite view. I choose to believe the former but have zero evidence to back up my view. I'm just hoping and as we all know the market does not do hope especially in the ones I pick.

cellis you know all Sphere related news comes under the Official Secrets Act and are grudgingly released to the market. Monthly updates / connections? Forget it, won't happen (158) was the last no I saw. You don't get Voda releasing monthly nos they might do Quarterly at a pinch. I've banged on about small cos re leasing nos Quaterly (keep the management on their toes), but few seem to agree with me. If we ever get over the pond and seek a quote we will have to do Q nos. That is in La La land as '18 is about the limit for Sphere's ambitions i fear. A surprise RNS is about all we can look forward to between the statutory releases. Maybe we'll get one today?
