Hi Tavernham. Agreed I had hoped we might have heard this morning but these take ages to be signed sealed an delivered! Whatever the Co is moving forward and significantly debt free (as far as I can see) from the interim accounts.

Well happy with the H/Y nos reported and increased dividend of 2p. While I personally would have preferred dividends to be reinvested to further grow the business, i have no doubt a Co paying an increasing div is considered a more attractive investment by most shareholders.

On course to pay a final dividend of c.10p making c.12p for the year it's a very solid start to H2. More good news to come from the Defence sector which could boost revenues to c. £100m this year. An £8m increase in cash to £23m underlines the strength of MSi considering a mrkt cap of just £56m!

Top execs from some of the bigest US banks have warned that stubbornly high inflation could trigger a US economic recession next year reflecting worries that in order to bring inflation down to the 2% target the Fed will need to push the economy into a prolonged recession.

Not what investors and traders wanted to hear. Stocks sank throughout the session. Big tech counters Meta in particular (-$7) led the decline as investors become wary over high growth stocks. Tesla which has started offering discounts on some vehicles fell $3 to $180 a low for the year.

MSi saw some buying interest (c.24k) yesterday ahead of the H/Y results expected on Thursday where a top priced 364p intraday was paid.

I'm looking for a considerable uplift in revenues and ebita going into 2023 which all being well will be a record year for the Co whose nos were impacted by the 2020/21 global pandemic.

But for that I feel sure MSi would have posted a 5th consecutive year of increased revs and profits.

The major averages climbed off their worst levels going into the close but remained firmly negative ahead of the Fed's widely expected move to ease rate rises next week. Analysts expect the Fed to hike rates by 50 basis points but continued strong jobs data and inflationary pressures could see a 75 basis rise though 80% of investors think its unlikely.

Morning NTD....Santa Rallies don't happen for Panthera investors. Last year the stock fell 9% during Dec, of course it had been on a one way ticket downhill for over a year so no surprise there....

Share price declines don't last for ever unless the stock is a basket case and no'one thinks PAT is in that camp, so who knows we may get a boost come Dec 5th if a resolution is around the corner.

Do I think one is? No idea but this stalemate has been going on far too long. Who is going to break the logjam? As long as the two parties are committed to resolving the impasse we may get a Santa Rally to cheer us all!

Stocks roared ahead in pm trading following comments from Fed Chair Powell that rate rises are likely to be smaller in the months ahead probably a 50 basis at their next Dec 13-14 meeting. He cautioned the job was not done yet.

Wall breathed a sigh of relief as the 4 main indexes closed markedly higher. The DJI gained 737 snapping a 3 day losing streak and the Nsdq Comp did even better gaining over 4%. Importantly it was the 2nd monthly advance in a row for stocks.

A Dec come Santa Rally may be on the cards. Last year the Dow gained 1854 points in Dec closing the year at 36,338 up 19% and the S&P led global exchanges advancing 27% on the year.

Tech and financials took the Nikkei below the 28,000 level (closed at 27,941) it's 4th straight losing day. With news covid cases are dwindling in Shanghai, recent disturbances contained and lockdown restrictions easing, traders focused on local factors where there was a sharp dip in industrial production of 2•6% in Oct.

HK, down 15% this month is flat after skyrocketing 8% yesterday driven by Alibaba & China Life. Country Garden zoomed up 14% to top the risers with beaten down property stocks attracting buyers. Near close the HS was up 88.

Re: activity. We could do with some before the sp withers away to nothing. Total vol for Nov is c.167k which averages out at c.£300 a deal.

Understandable as investors bide their time awaiting news from India which lets face it has been predictable to date. I often wonder what they talk about when they are in court?

Anti Govt demonstrations cont to spread across the country as the Peoples Party reiterated its commitment to zero-covid policy. Unfortunately spiralling case loads reached record levels last week as Chinese citizens scramble to buy ventilators and oxygen machines, revealing a lack of confidence in the state backed healthcare system struggling to find enough beds for the seriously ill.

Beijing's iron fisted zero-covid policy enters its 3rd year as deep seated frustrations and scepticism over endless testings and lockdowns reach unparalleled levels of outright defiance. In Shanghai citizens locked in tower blocks day after day are breaking restrictions and are out on the streets looking for trouble.

Such widespread anger is extremely rare in China as the iron fist of local party officials crack down on the dissenters calling for Xi Jinpings removal. Whether this proves to be no more than a little local difficulty or something worse time will tell.

Most of the mrkts in Asia and Pacifica had priced in lower prices following the week ends unrest. Little in the way of dramatic falls the mrkts are steady to slightly lower. HK led the fallers off c.2•3% with Tokyo and Shanghai down 0•5% & 1•0% in late pm trade.

One would hope so rivaldo but it's a tough competitive market of which I think we're best placed. As per the August 8th update GMMA are not the most forthcoming when it comes to putting 'flesh' on the nos.

Next major update due March 2023 for nos to Dec 2022 which should prove a lot better than last years which were impacted by covid and the global economy.

If reports are anything to go by GMMA is recovering fast and can build on the bounce started earlier this year. As ever there is a "But" all the technicals were registering "Sell" but have recently moved to strong "Buy". If sentiment to the sector has really changed our current mrkt cap of £38m is a steal.

Back in July the Defense Sec said the UK Gov would be supplying scores of guns, drones and anti-tank weapons to Ukraine. Since then the newsflow has pretty much dried up vi's a vi's MSi. Excepting recent Director dealings which went by unnoticed.

So, as the Co hasn't reported any news that would require a share price RNS one assumes we weren't on the preferred list of armoury suppliers at that time or their might be HM Govt constraints....

Regardless as the interims are about due, to save you looking here are the nos to beat.
