Joo you more than anyone should have learnt that constant ramping does SFA to the share price. So why not give it a rest. I am telling it as it is and if you don’t like it follow Robbren and press the filter button. Childish!

B777. You are in cuckoo land if you think the market will react as per “some simple arithmic” when are you going to get it that no amount of ramping on a bb will have any affect on the sp. (Applies also to deramping)

For your info I have doubled my money on Rya and IAG. Only Easy have dragged me down. Even with Easy when results have gone their way the sp reverses. In my opinion this will happen with Wizz but hope I am wrong as it will reflect across all airlines.

From experience I can tell you if looking for good returns airlines are not the place to have investments. Forget all the promise of jam tomorrow. I am betting that even with top results the sp will fall. That is what happens with airlines. The market is always on the lookout to kick the sp lower. Anyone going all in better lay off the bet with gold for instance. This is not just my opinion but watch and learn. I own Rya, IAG and Easy. Wizz not for me at any price.

B777. Yes a bad ride on EasyJet but a big win on Rya and IAG. I won’ t even mention gold. You can’t win them all. If joo’s blatant ramping is up your street so be it. Everyone is allowed an opinion.

Yeslam. Please learn to read. I am not the one who said that airlines were a death trap, that was that little known investor Warren Buffett. As for trolling I presume you are referring this to be the opposite of ramping. I will post here regardless of your notion that I do not qualify as at present I own no shares in Wizz. I am just voicing my opinion that even when you think airline shares are in for a smooth ride it can be a big letdown.

B777. Show me where I am giving Yaslam a hard time? What I am doing is passing on my experience of acquiring and owning airline shares. Logic I am afraid counts for little and over the years second guessing which direction the sp will move is a mission. If you are prepared to wait years for maybe a return airline shares are for you.

Yeslam. As posted previously I own IAG, Rya and Easy. Two big winners and a healthy loser. I am talking big numbers and a span >10 years.

B777. Good Day. I don’t disagree with the majority of your points. This notion that the tap can suddenly be turned on and more aircraft appear is nonsense. I have just returned from Everett where Boeing have the largest factory in the world producing (assembling) only Max 10’s. It is full. To set up a production line takes 2 years+ and Boeing have two on the go as we speak. The major problem is that the supply chain has to ramp up and the logistics of this are a nightmare. I again make the point that investments in airline shares are non predictable and to see a profit could take many years if at all. For the record I am invested in 3 airlines of which this is not one of them yet. I am well up in 2 and well down in the 3rd.

B777. Some of the things you say regarding the airline industry makes no sense to me. 10 years ago the sp was well on excess of what it is today. 5 years ago the sp was a factor of 4 its value today. So why would we see a much higher sp in 10 years time? I repeat the airline industry is unpredictable and susceptible to varying external events.

When are investors ever going to grasp the perils of owning airline shares. The availability of engines, number of aircraft in MRO, Airbus or Boeing , expected financial predictions will never be the driver. As today has illustrated airline shares are more affected by outside influences than most other shares. World unrest and the odd accident have a greater impact on airline sp’s. Share sp’s always decend a great deal quicker than the reverse. Unfortunately there seems to be no end in sight to world problems so gold is king and always has been. I bought my first Krugerrands in 2007 at a cost of R3500 per coin.. Today R68000. AIMO.
