Now B777 you asked me yesterday to give you my thought on what was the bottom number for this share. Well I will go along with citi and say 770. This week the FT, Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq have touched record highs. Wizz lost 5%. Any savvy investor would have their money elsewhere until this company demonstrates it has a future. This could be two years hence so it is a no brainier to keep the powder dry.

I am in Everett all next week so should have a good handle on the Max 10.

Yeslam. I am in the business and years ago I think sentiment pulled me in. I invested big (6 figures) and except for Easy I have done well. Now when I talk about stagnate I am referring to the sp and not growth in pax. My problem is understanding why this share is investable now when it is expected true growth will not occur for the next couple of years minimum.

Yeslam. Look how the sp of the main rivals (Esyjet, Ryanair and Jet2) has performed over the last 6 months. Wizz stands out as the big loser at minus 30%. You tell me in the next two years what is going to change this trend? The money making season is now over and when the anticipated figures surface early Nov. I will be surprised if they have the effect of clawing much of the 30% back.

B777 is right on one point. This is the airline industry. I’m afraid it is the only point. Anyone who invests in a share that is going to stagnate for many years on the chance it might eventually rise has too much money.

This is one frustrating share. It is now stuck between 1.5 and 1.55. Considering it has been >2 it is not performing when compared to similar funds. Let’s see where we are at the year end when I will decide if persevering is an option.

Thanks for that botbot. Agree totally with your post. Airline shares are mm’s delight. Forget all the logic of where this sp should be and where it will be in two years time. It will be where the mm’s want it.

Well B777 I am glad I keep you amused because there is nothing about the Wizz sp to make you smile. I am sure when you bought in here for plus minus £18 the sp price today was never envisaged. Why would anybody believe your £40 ramping after this.

Some investors here on this bb have a strategy which I find hard to comprehend. Knowing better times (hopefully) are two years in the future why on earth invest now whilst the sp is only going in one direction. Why not wait until all the drawbacks have been sorted.

B777. For some investors to break even the Wizz sp has to increase by 400%. Whereas almost anyone who invested in Ryanair at anytime is in profit. I think history is on Ryanair’s side. By the way it is Krugerrand.

Doug exactly. It is a task tying to get residentia in Spain. So if you can find someone in the distant past who was Irish it makes life a lot easier if a passport can be obtained. Irish 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 you lacking the “IO” whatever that is.
