Feasibility work continues on Nuvec® as a solution to the challenges faced in the delivery of vaccines orally. The Company expects to have some data following the results of planned studies as to its viability towards the end of this year. Development of an orally administered vaccine has significantly greater challenges than a subcutaneous injection. One important aspect is that the DNA plasmid may be subject to damage and breakdown by gastric acid and other digestive processes. However, the Company has now demonstrated that Nuvec® protects plasmid DNA from both acid and nuclease digestion. This result gives the Company confidence that further investigation of this route of administration using Nuvec® is merited.

Thats the part of the RNS that has intrigued me. Towards end of the year we have data coming out to see if the oral method of vaccine is viable. Thats a game changer in the vaccine world.

I had a look at the 'LSN Software Receives FDA Clearance' RNS

You do realise LSN software is a seperate company to IQAI. Looks like IQAI are doing the distribution/marketing for LSN so will get a cut of the profits. Some people on the board seem to think the software belongs to IQAI and they were responsible for it.

The agreement grants IB non-exclusive global rights to market and distribute AI Metrics' LSN image analysis product. LSN is a first-to-market platform designed by AI Metrics as a virtual liver biopsy, evaluating liver surface nodularity (LSN) to assess Chronic Liver Disease (CLD) using commonly acquired CT images.

You bought in when share up 50% already so hope it not a pump and dump and your friends research/recommendation is right.

Some of us had different viewpoints yesterday and indeed the week before on valuations so SP hasn't been a surprise but rather expected.

* Stemprinters value is now in a seperate company Accustem. From this message board valuation estimates from people were between £4 million - £200 million.
* Covid trial will have 36 patients and is more phase 1 than 2 from the description and looks to be a token gesture at this point. Lacks conviction and ambition which has disappointed the market, as people suspect was timed to prop up the SP on demerger day.

Take away the 2 above value points and you can see why the TILs SP has dropped as people will have taken a similar view and sold out yesterday.

To clarify further if you believe Accustem was worth say £100- £200 million in value then the SP at 130-140 was an absolute gift to sell your holding after the demerger in relation to TILs market cap.
If you went with the idea Accustem was worth nearer a value of £4 million you will have held on to your shares no doubt.

So it all boils down down to peoples respective valuations and your view on the RNS. This wasn't MMs playing tricks it was a disagreement between investors on value. When you have such a disagreement after a big event like the demerger the amount of people selling will cause a big drop in the SP.

Disagree with TILs I sold out yesterday on the back of the trial news. Their trial is 36 patients in size with 2 arms targeting later stage disease. The trial is more Phase 1 than 2 as they are looking for proof of concept and to work out dosage sizes.

My view was the already known trial was announced to try and hold up the SP after the Stem demereger.

Personally think they are miles behind in the timeline scales in getting their treatment ready for Covid-19. Plus there are 25 competitors some already in phase 3 making mAbs.

TILs is a good company however IMO they have missed the boat on Covid.

With regards to children spreading Covid-19. I am currently experiencing this first hand.

My partner and 2 year old are currently having to self isolate as the childrens nursery they work/attend has been shut down due to a major Covid-19 outbreak. The nursery is 'covid secure' and was split into 3 rooms per age group where no staff/kids could mix.

Tracing back as best we can one of the parents got a positive test but still sent their child into nursery as they were asymptomatic. Fast forward 10 days or so and all 3 rooms are closed due to staff having symtoms and testing positive and the nursery has now closed for 2 weeks.

The other children despite being asymptomatic went home and we are now discovering their parents have developed Covid-19 symptoms/positive tests.

Effectively via asymptomatic kids we have a super spreader event. Thats first hand experience.

I also follow numerous medical experts from other countries who have posted papers on Covid-19 spread in children and confirm its one of the big sources. Children are very infectious but do not show any real effects/symptoms, thats the big danger.

Bear in mind the governments previous advice of don't test asymptomatic people only get a test if you have symptoms. They also advised its ok to send your kids into school because they are largely asymptomatic and there is no real risk.

So currently the general public think
Why all of a sudden, is getting a test when you have no symptoms important? When previously they were happy to risk our kids and let the virus rip through the school setting?
If you test postive you are going to be hit with significant financial hardship. Why volunteer for that?
Liverpool are the city least likely to trust this governments advise and will rebel as we believe they don't have our best interests at heart.
Rumour the tests are from China.

This is just general public and not the anti vaxxers / plandemic etc crowd.

So how do you persuade public opinion to say mass testing is worthwhile when we have so much hatred of this Tory government? How do you educate people that mass testing is the likely way out of the pandemic when there has been so many lies and misinformation from the government?

Be very interesting to see what happens in the coming weeks and how the community responds.

The scores refer to at what stage of the disease the patients were at according to the WHO ordinal scale of clincil improvement.

Wait til the rumour of chinese tests being supplied by the Tories does the rounds in Liverpool - will be near zero takeup lol

Chippy tits says he volunteered the city to take part in any new Covid trials.

I do worry this will come back to hurt Liverpool if the trial isn't a success as the Tories will be quick to lay the blame.

Indeed mass scale testing which every Western country will need to roll out is going to create so much demand. No one company is going to be able to supply this. I'm sure in the next few months NCYT/ODX/AVCT are all going to do well.

Prof. Akiko Iwasaki was one of the co authors of the article who is followed by Eric Topol (who retweeted her). I would suggest messaging the author rather than Eric as she is one of the lead experts in her field.

On that government question/answer website, Synairgen were asked to submit an application to rejoin the Recovery trial so it does look like the government really want to claim some credit here.

Or government changing stance and laying the foundations to claim credit for Synairgen for getting them through trials in their ACCORD programme.

So Synairgen were the template or model company for the trials but were then subsequently removed from the national trials :)

Looks like its a Phase 1/2 trial between 36-60 patients, Gabriele mentions they want to work out dosage and proof of concept. Trial will run out of one hospital in Brazil and have 2 arms. Formulab on its own and another arm with Dexamethasone. He did not mention a placebo arm but guess this will be included to.

Potentially there will be 12-20 people in each arm of the trial, results will be known around Xmas time.
