On this latest RNS they have slightly increased the amount of shares they hold however % due to dilution it has reduced overall.

Unlike us PIs who have an open offer of 1 share per 37 the II's have a seperate placing where they can invest whatever amount. Makes sense to me to sell any shares you can above £1.75 when you know you can commit to buy back in the 2 placings.

Just theory we wont know the full story until I guess around November 3rd onwards.

Just to add I think they will have a further TR1 after Nov 3rd to say they have purchased more shares in 2nd round of placing at £1.75.

Venrock have maintained their position size pretty much.

I suspect Venrock have sold a load of their original existing shares whilst price was above £1.75 and then due to being an II have essentially bought a load of new shares at the placing price. This explains the slight increase in their share holdings as looks like they have been active.

Remember they originally bought in at £2 so makes sense they have churned them over and rebought at £1.75 at the placing. RNS did mention existing holders were participating. So the overall result for Venrock would be it reduces their price of entry by 25p, reduces effect of dilution to them them and raises cash for Synairgen.

Explains why there were 2 rounds of placing to the II's.

Davey how much do you estimate the market value of Accustem/StemprintER to be?

The question you need to ask is not what the nominal value is but how much is STEM/SPARE worth in the market to a buyer? How much is this asset worth? Do you think the new company is worth £3 million only?

For example if you believe the new company valuation is worth £150 million then it logical to assume TILs market cap will reduce by this much. SP will then be closer to £1.

What we need to find out if what Stems likely valuation to a prospective buyer is, what is the technology worth?

At stage 3/4 of WHO ordinal scale Dexamethasone would not normally be perscribed. Dexamethasone is a later stage drug.

I suspect that pushing price to 175 or just below is in the big boys interests? They would rather you buy more shares at open market than via the open offer. Causes less dilution overall.

I can't believe people are still going on about this small sale of shares to fund a house. He sold like 3.5% of his holding after guiding the SP to crazy highs. It really is a non event.
