I suspect you are right themorg political pressure has probably been applied. After the WHO/recovery trial results the timing seems a bit suspect.

Gooner_ twitter is a good place for information if you know where to look, many scientists, epidemiologists, medical academics etc are well worth following. Eric Topol for example is very well respected in the USA for his broad medical expertise and gives great insights into many promising Covid-19 drugs. Before passing judgement on twitter maybe look at what the scientists are saying on there.

Whilst we on the subject many people on my twitter are a bit puzzled how Remdesivir has got a full approval.

I'm pointing out another known drug has been unsuccessful in a placebo controlled trial which is good news here for us shareholders but not good in the fight vs Covid.

Another drug tocilizumab (blocks IL-6) today doesn't ease symptoms or prevent death in moderately ill COVID-19 inpatients.

Im not sure SNG001 will be going through a PRIME application as Covid-19 has its own procedures that have rolling reviews and PIP (paediatric investigation plans ) to speed up the process of approval. More info below.

Tocilizumab, an anti-inflammatory, doesn't ease symptoms or prevent death in hospitalized, moderately ill COVID patients. Drug is a biologic & normally for rheumatoid arthritis. It blocks IL-6- interleukin 6 -which drives inflammation.

France is now at hospital and ICU capacity and is ahead of the UK and other countries in the virus timeline. Drs believe the 2nd wave is going to be worse than the 1st. One Doctor comments they desperately need ways to stop people going into ICU. The call for a drug or an experimental drug to prevent ICU admission will get louder. In the coming weeks I predict there will be demand via clinigen in France for SNG001.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for 15,477,472 New Ordinary Shares, representing the, in aggregate, 14,943,300 Firm Placing Shares and 534,172 Option Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Firm Admission"), and it is expected that Firm Admission will become effective and trading will commence in the Firm Placing Shares and Option Shares at 8.00 a.m. on 19 October 2020.

Following Firm Admission, the Company will have 164,910,914 Ordinary Shares in issue.
