10 years ago the Sp was nearer £9, and Sept 2019 it touched £2.70. Then two bad RNS followed by the cough and it went sub 10p.
In the golden period everything went right for tlw, then the opposite happened. Stranded assets, ageing assets, lowly production, debt and a lack of enthusiasm from within.
Some will claim that the company nearly went bust, but this was never going to happen because it would be hassle for the lenders. So the company was restructured to pay the debt at the expense of the Sp.
Real production is around 55k, and the market did not fall fir the gas blag which equates to selling oil at less than $20 per barrel.
