Well it was easy enough to sell the Uganda asset at this time. And did you think that the OP was never going to recover :)

No one wanted TLW when it was sub 10p and that could have included Uganda.

GS lend to shorters - at one point they had over 50m TLW shares loaned to shorters.

Do we so called financial experts to tell us this is undervalued.

60p plus by next Easter is what the No1 TLW expert predicts.

At best - Kos are hoping that tlw take a huge hit in the tax dispute and then swoop. Or its been planned for many months, it will be interesting to see what stance the Ghanaian government take should this offer progress.

How can any deal be done when tbe tax issue is not resolved? Unless there are some underhanded dealings going on.

KOS are definitely not a White Knight - they are a predator. After what TLW have been through in recent years to merge would be a bad move. Evil forces could beat work.

Even if they take a big hit in the tax dispute just sit it out. It may be getting near the time where they should almost give Kenya away on the basis of claiming back expenses and receiving contingent payments. That would take the SP to several times what it is now.

TLW holders should base their valuations on the future value of TLW - not KOS. If TLW get a reasonable outcome in the tax dispute then don't be surprised to see KOS walk away from this deal.

However, as Cooper pointed out in Q1, TLW have effectively taken 2024 off and with lowly production, poor communication and lack lustre updates was this all planned to lower the SP....

TlW should avoid this merger like the plague - KOS are circling like vultures.

10 years ago the Sp was nearer £9, and Sept 2019 it touched £2.70. Then two bad RNS followed by the cough and it went sub 10p.

In the golden period everything went right for tlw, then the opposite happened. Stranded assets, ageing assets, lowly production, debt and a lack of enthusiasm from within.

Some will claim that the company nearly went bust, but this was never going to happen because it would be hassle for the lenders. So the company was restructured to pay the debt at the expense of the Sp.

Real production is around 55k, and the market did not fall fir the gas blag which equates to selling oil at less than $20 per barrel.

The shorts are far from concerned because they borrow from the II holders who get information before the public do.

Who would want their clients to lose money...

The SP dropped because Kos are preparing for tlw to take a huge hit in tbe tax dispute and then attempt to take tlw over at an extremely low price.

The experts on here haven't got a clue :)
