The tlw tax dispute has been going on for about 2 years. The Ghana revenue are clearly keen to pursue this one - and the claims go back to before RD was CEO.

RD has done very little at best. Most of the improvements came due to the high oil prices. Furthermore, the merger terms that he was agreeable to were very bad for the longs - but why would he care.

Remember, any Kenya deal is good for TLW, as once production begins they can incrementally claim back over $1B in expenses.

OPEC are just another group of puppets. The bankers pump and dump the financial system.

It is a strange time to announce this, unless other not so good news is imminent.

This share gets constantly played - just like when it got taken up to 40p for no good reason, before tanking.

What conditions would be needed to get this to 100p ?

If they lose the arbitration and relinquish Kenya then this could go sub 5p.

Buying this stock is not investing it's gambling :)

It's not that long ago that GS lent out 50m TLW shares to shorters. Likewise, the IIs will continually lend to shorters on generous terms.

When people like Big Sam and others got it so wrong - paying attention to funds buying is very misleading. Remember, they are gambling with their client's money.
