I agree that eventually there will be a buyout....
Although RM in his interview yesterday referred to a
partnership.... it would have been foolhardy to say anything else at this stage....
Imagine RM mentioning buyout first and an incoming offer was not to the value he considered fair.....and then reverting to a partnership....it would have had a negative impact.....
Slowly slowly catch a monkey....RM is on the correct path to maximise the potential both in health and monetary terms...

I agree with the sentiment of your 18:35hrs post....
that was my concern in one of my earlier posts regarding the future dynamics of the shareholding....PI’s versus II’s....
following the placement......

This is why I believe that PI’s should take up all the open share offer.....to maintain a large as possible shareholding percentage ....so we have at least some sway in a shareholders vote on future deal outcomes.....
Unfortunately with this placement we are likely to loose our 52% PI majority holding in SGN....but this is a price we must pay to have progression to Phase 3 trials and SGN production .....

totally agree......it would seem an anomaly that one couldn’t exercise the full rights.....as long as the offer shares don’t go into maxed out ISA and are placed into the share trading account....I can’t see a problem....hopefully our broker has got it right....perhaps other brokers have rules that bar that?

My understanding is....13th October 1800hrs ....is the cut off point.....

1)....SGN001 via nebuliser is covered by patents and patent applications in the....UK....EU.....USA.....Japan....

2).....SGN001 via nebuliser whilst medicating on steroids is a new development.....therefore the Patent has only recently been submitted to the U.K. patent office this gives Synairgen’s a priority date for other territories also.....

As Synairgen has submitted a PCT on (1) we may well see more areas added via PCT.....Patent Cooperation Treaty... if deemed worthwhile....

I expect Synairgen will do the same for (2) regarding all the above in (1) .... so I don’t see any worries regarding Patent protection for SGN001....

Question.....how do you see the future regarding the dynamics of the shareholding.....now control in voting rights have changed.....PI’s versus II’s....
I’m assuming with the new share issue......the II’s collectively will now have majority holdings (voting rights) as opposed to PI’s collective holding in the company.....I’m hoping this new situation will not be detrimental to the long term interests of PI’s.....any thoughts.....
