Doc ....existing stock being utilised ..... but it would make sense for a one fits all scenario....keeps costs down plus the new model minimises aerolisation of droplets in the atmosphere in hospitals settings and it can be separated from the mixing chamber so the nebulising piece can be plugged directly into the ventilator circuit for those on oxygen.....and he also stated it may even be trialed on ventilated patients ...

BigDano.... RM stated that the Aerogen nebuliser would take over from the current nebuliser in the home trials in his latest webinar....can be viewed on the Reddit site....

Data Monitoring Committees
A Data Monitoring Committee is a group of independent experts external to a study assessing the progress, safety data and, if needed critical efficacy endpoints of a clinical study. In order to do so a DMC may review unblinded study information (on a patient level or treatment group level) during the conduct of the study. Based on its review the DMC provides the sponsor with recommendations regarding study modification, continuation or termination. Data Monitoring Committees also go under different names like Data Monitoring Board or Data Safety Monitoring Committee .....

gggg21......the great info to note on this document is it includes a Data Monitoring Committee.....I believe this means if the trial is showing good efficacy it could lead to a EUA.....

For those concerned over Synairgen speed in getting this over the line....

AZN.....to re-enter a partnership or T/O with Synairgen would mean them having to admit to their shareholders that they had missed an opportunity 3 years ago....and now having to pay a considerable larger sum on the back of a successful Phase 3 trial of SGN001....would not look good for the BoD.....

IMO.....more likely to be a US pharma.....
