From what I can see the focus in terms of marketing budget is on Ratesetter where they come in as offering competitive rates but also offer a means of gaining accounts in a discrete manner. Dan does not appear to be ready to go full steam for growth but is aiming to get the infrastructure right IMO. JJ

Tongue in cheek remark; people take some of the posts too seriously. I am aged 71 which in part explains reference to grandchildren. One of them should go to Uni in less than 5 years from now hence I would love for this to come good for her, not me. JJ

You get thousands of shares for very little outlay, you never know your grandchildren might get to enjoy the profits produced one day; at least that is my view. JJ

chilting, completely agree. However in this day and age my expectation would be for more frequent updates on trading e.g. monthly. This would show to investors that M&S are becoming more enlightened in terms of keeping staff and investors informed, good for morale even if figures are impacted as we would expect. Information is key.
As an aside the BOO sp has been hammered to an extent that I had not noticed. They are in the media today for bringing manufacture back to the UK. JJ

I wrote that in early June. It was aimed at long term holders of MTRO, and not a reference to their age. I think they have sold up to invest elsewhere, but I'm staying with it for another 2 years or so. JJ
