Despite my earlier post I am likely to pause before adding to my holding of NWG and retain the cash in my ISA pending my own decision on when to buy. IMO the markets could very well crash between now and the end of October, and we might well see NWG below £2 again, in which case pausing now will have been shown to have been a good decision. On the other hand if NWG starts to fly I shall be pleased to buy more .
In short I am very relaxed about my NWG holding. JJ

Stockport, perhaps you might want to consider another angle, or perspective. You will no doubt be familiar with street markets. Now when a trader is experiencing a quiet day with few punters he is likely to either go home early, or will try to tempt people to buy by reducing his prices or offering a freebie. Here the markets adjust prices to tempt people to buy/sell and therefore they take money from the margin. The markets are made up of "barrow boys" even if they now sit at their computers. Some seem to see it as some sort of conspiracy but IMO its simply how markets operate, they simply like to make their money. JJ

Useful working capital, and option price cannot be seen as a bargain for those exercising; they must have some belief in the future of ALBA. JJ

Relax, its clear that any deal, or deals have been impacted by the war. There is every reason to believe a deal will happen; the big unknown is when. My average is 14p, having made my first investment at 2p, and so I'm showing a significant loss, but its modest in terms of my overall investments, hence I can smile, and be patient. Your glass is half full if you want it to be! JJ
