SonsofGwalia, very funny post. You post on here using a computer but don't want Tesco to use a computer to check out your goods. Lets ask Tesco not to use computers throughout their business so they have to employ even more people. Lets ask Tesco to not use big lorries but deliver everything using bicycles and horse and cart. Of course it won't increase costs and put Tesco out of business. Tesco has a problem getting quality staff in real numbers right now, but no doubt you advocate paying staff more and don't worry about the impact on costs/profits. Lets nationalise the business so you can ignore the costs of doing business. And by the way I'm 71 and don't need to be served at a till. And I speak to people while I'm shopping because its a friendly thing to do. I even reach up for things on the top shelf when others can't reach. JJ

Lets assume your son comes to you and says "I have a business idea" then you won't want to discourage him, but you will want to discuss his plans. This discussion will include his ideas on the costs of setup etc. and what income/profit might be generated. My question is why are we not being told what net profit is going to come the way of VAST? The cynic in me suspects that AP will have claimed personal expenses on this latest venture/jolly that you and I are meeting. Please don't consider me negative, but do look at the track record of AP. ian12, this was always a speculative investment for me, and therefore a modest sum committed. My view is that we have to be patient, expect some good news over the next 2/3/4 years. This approach allows me to focus on my other larger safer holdings. Good luck. JJ

Fender, as I read your post you don't believe MKS is worthy of your investment. In that case don't invest as you will only have yourself to blame if the share does not perform for you. I bought at 112p and 'am happy to sit tight. Hope you make the right decision. I'm also very pleased with NWG currently. JJ
