As part of the data gathering NICE want the test to be installed in multiple clinics across the UK. So there is absolutely no doubt that the test is being taken up outside of the greater Manchester area. Remember also, the NHS initiated the development of this test in the first place, so they aren’t going to make things difficult or hold it up lol.

Prostate Cancer UK were speaking very encouragingly and positively about PSE in the email I received yesterday. They explicitly said they do not know yet whether the test will be included. It’s early days, they made it clear how important it is that they get the set up stages right and that they get all the tests and treatments they need. So basically they haven’t decided exactly which tests will be used, but clearly they haven’t ruled PSE out.

My own opinion and impression is that it will be included. All will be revealed in Spring.

Previously it said final report due 20th Dec on that web page. They’ve removed the date today whilst they assess how much extra time is needed.

@Dug... thanks! No issues yet fortunately. I'm too young to take part it seems, but it will be something I'll be keen to get checked as soon as I'm eligible.

21 November 2023 - Following the committee meeting on 28 September 2023, the External Assessment Group (EAG) have completed further analyses as a result of points raised during the committee discussion. The next steps in the evaluation will be delayed to allow this analysis to be considered. The topic webpage will be updated with the revised timelines in due course.

So I gather the decision is no longer going to be announced on 20th December.

I believe they are referring to people taking part in the trial when they mention recruitment. Hopefully I will be one of them.

It also implies multiple tests will be trialled.

@Dug yes that’s exactly right, it sounds as though they are waiting for something before they’ll know if PSE will be included.

I’m not going to post it all as there is a legal note in the footer but…

They went on to provide a lot of info about PSE and links to the data, so it’s clearly something they’re interested in and obviously know loads about it.

Anyone who contacts Cancer Research regarding the trial will find Dug's assumptions are incorrect. They do not yet know whether the EpiSwitch test will be one of the tests included in the trial and they will confirm details of the research, including which tests are being trialled and how recruitment will take place in Spring 2024.

They know all about the test and it's accuracy. Contracts are still being finalised though, so my guess is OBD may well be finalising a contract with them, hence they do not know until contract has been agreed.

That basically confirms there is still very much the possibility that the test will be included, and they are not too late!

The numbers don’t surprise me. They’ve been running a sponsored ad campaign on google so whilst the site wasn’t in the natural index and the very beginning (it usually takes a few weeks) the sponsored links were driving loads of new traffic to the site. Plus direct traffic.

I think you were confusing screening methods with topics.

What you’ve written there is nonsense Dug. None of the new innovative screening methods that will be used in TRANSFORM are mentioned, only the topics.

There’s a very strong chance OBD is involved going by everything we know.

I found the presentation really interesting.

I just can’t understand why such an efficiently run business with low overheads, great product/service/technology, happy customers, repeat business and highly intelligent management, is not profitable.

More like 5 weeks (20th December) until the NICE Stroke Marker report is published.

Poor results were expected on the previous few results announcements too but it has never seemed to stop the price falling further on the day. The results need to be better than expected imo for any stability in the price, but let's see.

My guess is RF will offer more money for more shares, maybe a couple of million GBP for discounted shares to give us more time to generate some sells.

We need to get the results out the way first, and finance situation cleared up imo.

Funny how the apparently huge trading volume on their exchange has vanished, and how they can get away with this kind of thing, funny but concerning.

The rise was related to the 2x 500k buys imo… as there’s a reasonable chance it is a Director buy - something we’ve lacked in the past. It would be a big vote of confidence.
