I’m anticipating a positive news release either this week or next week. If nothing by the end of next week I will start having some concerns.

FDA partners update expected early this year, could be February as that’s still early in my book.

Not expecting full NICE validation of AIHL until data has been collected. There should be an update soon about what they require though.

Does this mean there was a change to the current draft guidance? Which is…

“ National Institute for Health and Care Excellence ("NICE") has recommended in draft guidance that CYP2C19 genotyping should be used before clopidogrel administration in the management of ischemic stroke ("IS") patients.”

The original date for final guidance decision was 9th June 2023, so almost a year late.

Funding might make a PI sell, it’s difficult to gauge what any placing will be like and how it will affect the market at the moment.

For instance the FDA partner news could be in the same RNS as a discounted placing to fund it so it’s tricky to gauge how the market would respond to that especially if timelines are long.

Worked orders are not usually delayed from what I've gathered, I get the impression these are carried out in bits throughout the day and then printed once the order has been fulfilled or after hours sometimes, usually massive trades. This one was a straightforward sell shown in real time.

Maybe it was an order on the book visible to market makers all day, and they simply walked the share price down a bit knowing they would fill the order in the afternoon (displayed in real time as not particularly big). It could have very easily have been a PI selling.

Quite a lot of buying today but the buy price kept getting slightly cheaper each time. Maybe the 300k sell was being worked throughout the day hence market makers knew there was lots of stock to offload, effectively cancelling out the demand.

If that 300k sell hadn’t appeared I’d have suspected a placing was imminent.

A salary of 500k, very high cost of the test and refusal to accept that PSE needs more trials/testing rang alarm bells for me. Now on top of that, seemingly misleading the market on both CIRT sales and PSE demand. Something about the way he started waiving his notebook and the length of time it took to respond made me think he was feeling caught off guard there, it looked like he had written a very quick note as almost a reminder about the study.

I understood the potential AIHL NICE update in January would be to give detail about exactly what they require for the data gathering period. I’m not sure they’re going to be able to update their decision.

Hopefully an update on the stroke marker test, it appears NICE are just sitting on their hands regarding next steps, what are they waiting for I wonder.

Good find John. It’s probable imo that their publication date will be pushed back a couple of months (reflecting the NICE delay) as they also mention the following which hasn’t been updated…

“The NICE guidance is due to be published in December 2023. The evidence base used to inform the NICE draft will be used to inform recommendations for NHSScotland.”

Yes, the comment about overwhelming demand for PSE is what made me cautious back then. I suspected the main reason they brought the test launch forward may have been to coincide with Prostate awareness month for publicity. I may be wrong, it could be that they launched it early in order to get the code for January. Hopefully demand will pick up in the US now the code is available, though I doubt we’ll know until the next report.

It’s a bit misleading perhaps but the reference to Jan 1st is the date the code can be used, not the date from which the sales started.

IMO it’s referring to the total sales up to now, not just those sold since the end of the last financial year.

I don’t think that is 770 since 1 October, more likely it’s the total orders to date including last year, which equates to less than 100 per month currently.

Nothing is wrong, the market will respond in a massive way when any hint of the FDA process beginning, specialist commissioning being given, confirmation of KSS rollout. Then there’s the stroke market NICE recommendation, potentially this month also.

The share price will shoot up on any of these items and continued rollout nationally and internationally will see a steady climb in share price and bring much needed stability, as profitability is reached.

Special commissioning will make it possible for all 208 NICUs to adopt the test before NICE full recommendation.

I’m not sure if SC will make them legally obligated to adopt, but as the funding is providing I can’t imagine any unit refusing, particularly with a risk of being sued for not providing a test that’s available. Hopefully we’ll receive this by the end of the month too.
