Yes sorry I think you’re right Stocksaint regarding 327 cash burn being because of the tax credit, not devote.

Thanks for all your research Lionel. I didn’t see the previous version so am not sure, ‘Welsh Government’ jumps out as I know Cheek was talking about pushing RNR1 into other regions of the UK, but it may have always been on the document.

There is also the devote funding which reduces monthly cash burn to around £327k per month I recall from the presentation.

My expectation is that they will continue drawing down from the facility, which would push the cash runway beyond 3.5 months. If I recall correctly off the top of my head they have 1.5m left to drawdown.

For a few months there had been some doubt as to whether they could still make drawdowns considering the share price had dropped below 16p. Which I believe is what Russ was referring to when he said (absent any funding is received). We know they’ve continued to be able to drawdown when they’ve needed to. So I see no reason why that won’t continue.

The text in brackets is the crucial bit for me “(absent any further funding)” …we know they have received more funding since then from Riverfort, which as we stand extends the cash runway for another couple of months, almost to Q3.

It’s also highly likely Riverfort will imo continue to provide further drawdowns, which will extend the runway further. As we know, it’s in their interest to support the company given the number of warrants they have.

Funding for FDA will be needed, but I understand it’s separate and connected to the deals and contracts they’re finalising with FDA partners.

The presentation is well worth watching for anybody who hasn’t yet seen it or wants a refresh.

And for anybody who thinks I was telling lies goto 24 mins into the presentation where James is talking about the FDA partners and says “and again I’d like to bring you more information on that as soon as I possibly can, as I said I can’t until everything’s all cleared and all the contracts are completed and signed”

Don’t get me wrong I’ve been spiked here a few times too, massively at times! I know the pain! It’s not fun and it is easy to lose faith (especially back in the covid test days). But with some patience I’ve always managed to average down and have ended up doing alright with a bit of trading.

The thing here for me is I thoroughly believe in the 2 products they currently have. The stroke marker test could end up being the big one, the market is a lot bigger than RNR1 however RNR1 has zero competition and there’s clearly huge and growing interest in it worldwide, that’s what I’m most excited about at the moment.

So I’ve always been keen to have a holding here as I believe in the long term investment case. But that doesn’t stop me trading it from time to time, albeit not always successfully :)

Frankie, you can have a long term position in an ISA for example and increase/decrease the holding on short/medium term fluctuations, or even have a separate account for trading, either way it is quite possible to be both a long term investor and trade it a bit. I’ve been increasing my base holding recently as I see a lot of upside.

What have I said that is pure lies? When I say plenty of cash to keep the lights on I'm referring to the facility Riverfort are providing, there is no doubt in my mind that they will continue to provide the drawdown facility which I understand is about enough to pay monthly salaries and general business costs.

Extra funding for FDA and future product development will be needed, I haven't disputed that. I see that as a positive fundraise though as news of FDA partners and submission will be huge imo. They're hoping for a big slice of the £34m US market for RNR1.

I'm not in trouble at all, far from it. I've been trading and investing here for a few years now and have done very well overall despite a couple of hiccups. At the current share price I believe there is a lot of upside considering the anticipated news, media and progress. My strategy has been to keep a long term holding (as I think their current products are going to do very well) whilst also trading where I see opportunities. Right now I'm expecting more upside over the coming days and weeks.

He made it very clear that a fundraise would be specifically for the FDA process. This will almost certainly have a positive effect on the shareprice.

Plenty of cash available to keep the company going. What they will need cash for though is the FDA process, however they are currently finalising contracts with FDA partners who are going to support them through it at a much lower cost and shorter time frame than would otherwise be the case. There's a good possibility they will provide funding in exchange for a royalty rather than the company doing a placing. Either way FDA is going to be fantastic and well received news! :)

Indeed! It’s surely a possibility that the FDA partners will provide funding in exchange for a royalty slice of the pie.

If there's no drawdown next week it will simply mean that they don't need those funds, which I imagine would be because they may have received the tax credit. RF have a huge number of warrants so it's very much in their interest to help and support Genedrive when needed.

They’ve granted options to the senior management team just a few weeks ago. Something that has not happened before. Also, these are subject to certain performance criteria being met in the new financial year.
