Somebody else receiving EUA probably does mean we’re closer, the FDA are working through the requests.

Also, all of the other companies I’ve checked that, like Genedrive say ‘Not FDA authorised’ don’t have the Establishment Registration number and details that we have been given since yesterday morning. It really does look like EUA is about to be given.

Until we receive that which is coming very soon IMO, our tests can be used in laboratories certified under CLIA that meet requirements to perform high-complexity tests. Tests may be performed in laboratories certified under CLIA that meet requirements to perform high complexity and/or moderate complexity tests, also in patient care settings operating under a CLIA Certificate of Waiver.

My guess is Beckman are updating their site in preparation for a likely surge in traffic this week in response to the presentations. I also think it's likely that the kits that were available to 'add to the basket' were just the initial supply from the first batch that we sent over for Beckman to test the market with. This phase has probably now completed successfully and so the Genedrive kits have joined their line of products and are being sold in the same way, taking orders for much larger quantities and to allow for more flexible price negotiation on big orders. Exciting times!

That’s incorrect, last years interim results came out Feb 4th. The business update that came around 25th March last year was full of new positive updates particularly regarding Covid testing.

The US needs to set up some mega labs, each running 50 Biomek i7s machines processing 150,000 tests per day at full capacity. Possible?

Well that £65k trade from yesterday at 12:44 is definitely a buy at that price. Dissappointing week, but next week should be fun with Beckman and our own presentations.

People are mistaking delayed sells for buys. There’s been loads of £10-£15k sells delayed an hour making them show as buys. I am certain there will not be a placing, the share price has gone down because of the selling. Also it hasn’t dropped that much, it’s still around strong support. Great opportunity to buy in before next week, should be really exciting.

Beckman just tweeted today about the BioLector Pro bacterial viability (not Covid related), a company they acquired in November. Here’s a snippet from November... “Beckman Coulter Life Sciences signed a definitive agreement to acquire m2p-labs, a privately held, microbioreactor manufacturer based in Baesweiler, Germany. m2p-labs is best known for its transformative BioLector plate-based microbioreactors, which support automated solutions for screening and bioprocess development.“

Along with the comments from Danaher recently, this makes the chances of a takeover quite a real possibility IMO.

The Genedrive kit was formally launched only 1 month ago on the 17th February, I wouldn't expect weekly updates on sales. I'm pretty sure we'll be updated on sales next Friday. The only thing that has surprised me is that we haven't had any recent TR-1s, but that's the responsibility of the ii to inform the company. Frustrating to see it pull back to support, but not unexpected... certainly nothing to worry about imo.

Bargain at this price... About £50k of buys there in 10 mins. Strong support around this area.

Ah hang on, diagnostic kits could be referring to PCR tests.

The latest I’ve heard on the news is the LFT is as accurate as PCR tests when it comes to false positives, though I’m still researching... hopefully there are still advantages to using PCR. I’m also wondering why the £8B government tender only mentions LFT. Is the situation different in the US? It seems in the uk there’s more demand for LFT at the moment.

Somebody constantly deramping a company they have no financial exposure to is very different to somebody constantly ramping a company they are invested in. Derampers attacking a company can create panic and cause people to sell and scare buyers, pushing down the share price causing many to have a paper loss, causing them stress, many of those will end up selling simply to end the stress. Not to mention the problems and low share price can cause the company itself. Rampers, or people constantly reviewing their research and posting why they’re invested are not causing anybody who is not invested to lose money. It’s positive. Of course it’s important to acknowledge risks, and there are obviously some extreme rampers out there on some stocks but they’re not forcing anybody to buy, derampers can force some people into selling, and cause stress. That’s the way I see it anyway! :)
