The date for the conference call is strange as it’s before the flow test will finish. I would have thought most of the questions people have will be about Brockham. Almost like they want to have the call before the flow results. The timing doesn’t fill me with confidence.

DL said last week he’s now a buyer of the weald, because he’s no longer involved with DOR. I think there’s a plan in background to enable ANGS to buy DORs share. DL will likely start promoting it more once he’s finished buying.

Yes I think it’ll be the next news we receive. This might even be why the BOD have been playing Brockham down recently, and hardly mentioning it.

Yes, totally agree. I can't believe some of the tweets frustrated holders are posting on the main twitter marketing channel. First impressions and company image is crucial to this being successful, posting such tweets is going to do a lot of harm and put people off. I hold 300000 shares so want it to re-list as much as anyone else, but lets give them a chance.

Buys have been under mid price showing as sells for a while now. Seems they’re trying to suppress the price for some reason.

I agree assuming there has been no issue with the acid causing sludge. Bit concerned about this now.

Another thing, GL said they would have done Balcombe first if they could, instead of Brockham. Why didn’t they? I assume because they don’t have the permits but why haven’t they already applied for them? They said they believe they can get them. I don’t think it’s guaranteed otherwise they would surely have fast tracked Balcombe months ago.

One of the things that worries me is GL said the gas asset is much better than all their Weald assets. So if the gas asset only has the potential to make them about £20m over the next 10 years... it doesn’t make their Weald assets sound too good.

What doesn’t make sense to me is the 17th June, why is there a 2 week wait?

Having agreement of partners is just standard procedure. They are working very meticulously and communicating their processes by the book. For example, the result of their recent discussions with partners is that it would be sensible to ensure the borehole is in optimum condition, so that's what they are going to do next and then they'll meet up again to discuss the next stage. They're doing this to make sure it goes well, like HH did eventually rather than BB, this is very reassuring to hear.

I can't believe the negativity here!! I've just watched his interview again from 2 weeks ago and he says they are going take a pause with their partners, think about this next stage (because they learned from UKOG they will need to do things most carefully and most intelligently) and start bringing on equipment within the next I suppose 2-3 weeks. SO next week things should start happening. There is absolutely no reason to think anything is wrong at this stage!

Good posts Sam. Some of these deramping posters posting constant negativity need to be investigated for market manipulation, is blatantly obvious what they’re doing.

I believe the reason for the drop is simply that the ‘investors’ who took part in the £3m placing will probably have been market makers and stock brokers, who will have been forward selling all those shares at 5-6p knowing they would be buying them at 4.25p. This along with private investors panicking or loosing faith or loosing patience has driven the price down to these levels imo. I expect it will fly back up as the equipment starts arriving and testing begins, as well as the gas deal and Balcombe. Great time to buy imo.

I see some derampers on here this evening. Typical recovery rates are 70-80% not 60%, it’s in the RNS. This could equate to roughly £20 million profit. Also the reason the current owner isn’t going to extend the pipeline themselves is because they are a massive gas company and for them it’s not worth the effort, however for a small company like Angus it’s well worth it.

Brilliant and reassuring interview by LL. I’m flabbergasted at the negative comments on this BB and the sells this morning. The gas field sounds very good indeed, much better than I was expecting. Also very glad to hear they are doing Brockam as carefully as possible so that they get it right. He wasn’t disappointed, he was sympathising with PIs disappointment that it wasn’t a quick ‘turn the taps on’ project. However, all looks good and is on track.

I like that Titanic idea, they just need to isolate and plug the holes lol! From what I understand of the possible new acquisition is that it currently has recovered 60% of the gas that’s down there and typical wells are usually able to recover 70-80%. So does anybody have any idea how much money 10-20% of gas will make them? It must be significantly more than the money it is going to cost to build the pipe and reconnect it. If not then it makes no sense. Any ideas? Great to see Brockham is going to plan.

The ‘if and when’ was referring to if and when the open offer is completed, a perfectly reasonable thing to say. Seems a lot of derampers on here this morning.
