Maestro, you should do your own research instead of demanding others workout how many EUAs have been granted please go to the link I posted and spend a couple of hours going through the FDA letters for each listing and you'll have your answer. It's easy to to figure out which ones are just updates and which ones are actual approval dates. My goal was simply to find enough 2021 FDA EUA approvals to prove you were missleading people.

Beckman will sell it, give them a chance. Even in the meantime before EUA arrives they will sell a reasonable amount I’m sure... just not the earth shattering numbers they will when EUA is granted. EUA should arrive by May as it usually takes a year. MoD contract on the horizon too... exciting times!

The notification list maestro refers to is not kept up to date. See my weekend posts, and links to lists that are kept up to date... there have been loads of EUA approvals this year.

Offering 2 LFT tests per week for the very reason you’ve mentioned, they are unreliable.

I haven’t checked them all, just looked up enough to see that it’s not kept up to date. It’s not a page I’m going to look at anymore as I realised yesterday the other list is up to date and contains more info.

Agreed Genedrive submitted the test last May. So if we take the timeframe from the example I gave, and I understand that is a typical timeframe then it would be very reasonable to expect FDA review this month, and EUA should be granted.

Maestro, the list you refer to is not up to date... many of those tests that say not fda authorised have now received EUA approval. Examples are the Thermo Fisher PCR one and the Access one. Genedrive will get approval soon IMO.

That list is irrelevant, the concern has been whether FDA are still regularly granting EUA approval. You have been missleading people into thinking that the FDA have pretty much stopped granting EUAs and telling people the longer time goes on the less chance approval will be granted. So the nonsense I am refering to is you twisting info and using irrelevant and outdated pages to sow doubt and falsehoods in peoples minds. Here you go, this test here was launched on March 13th 2020 and received EUA approval February 26th 2021... Viracor SARS-CoV-2 assay DTC.

So it goes to show that the process can take nearly a year.

Well if you look here you'll see loads of PCR tests with EUA approval this year. The one I mentioned before wasn't actually granted on the 1st April, that was the date that their EUA was updated. However if you go through them you'll find several that were EUA approved in March alone. What I want to know is when they submitted their applications. Either way it would appear the FDA are busy working through applications.
