2021 isn't finished with yet!

If I were Ganfeng I would make a move for the Sonora now for some of these reasons.

The board are preoccupied with Amapa and a gamechanger development, as this develops further this little AIM lightweight is gaining in strength and its bargaining power is increasing plus very likely the ability to raise large sums if it was called upon to do so.

lithium is on a hockey stick / J curve price and demand increase that's not going to be ending anytime soon, with our JV's likely to come into play while peak prices are still being paid and so as each day passes the JV increases in potential value.

Sonora plant design and production volumes has not been disclosed under Ganfeng's controlling ownership so perhaps the JV's are to be part of stage 1.

Many of these have been discussed over recent months by many on here and similar applies to HAS and REM’s.

still two and a half days of trading in 2021 for the Ganfeng offer another Chinese buyout on 23rd December taking every single share available 100%, some lucky local with 6% gets $44.2M - so it's mop them up time, probably part of the directive from the Chinese government with the surging, soaring frenzy in lithium!

Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt announced in a statement this week that it would pay a total of 422 million U.S. dollars to acquire the Prospect Resources-owned Arcadia Lithium Mine, about 40 km east of Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. It said it would pay 377.8 million dollars for Prospect Resources’ 87 percent stake and 44.2 million dollars for a 6 percent stake held by a local investor.

As this condition has now been satisfied, Bacanora today announces that is has approved the making of the Zinnwald Distribution to all Bacanora Shareholders on the register at 6.00 p.m. today (the "Record Date"), with the transfer of the ZLP shares expected to be made to Bacanora Shareholders by 22 December 2021. Bacanora Shareholders who hold their Bacanora Shares in certificated form will receive their Zinnwald Shares in certificated form, and Bacanora Shareholders who hold their Bacanora Shares in uncertificated form (i.e. in CREST) will receive their Zinnwald Shares in uncertificated form (i.e. through CREST).

Or we just might get an offer from Ganfeng and a suspension, that seems plausible!

Antitrust ruling very likely on the 16th according to a poster on the BCN BB and I would imagine that the Ganfeng votes passing 75% is announced so hand in hand.

Someone did mention a while back on BCN that the antitrust ruling may have been to benefit Ganfeng after a slow up take of approved votes so extending the qualifying period!

that was my understanding just thought that scenario should be aired as it's a real possibility, thanks for the twitter link - I do believe the KM interview was done in advance of news for the benefit of new investors and I base that on the nature of the questions around all the high profile assets - my view of course.

If Ganfeng enter into talks for our JV's and there's a suspension plus during the suspension all the sign off completes for Amapa - how is that reported?

you've just reminded of the time I was in Yorkshire at the in-laws and the sister-in-law asked me to have a chat with the nephew as he'd been acting odd of late, he wasn't in the house so she told me he would likely be in with his pigeons.
