Ganfeng September 2021 get outbid on Millennial, October announce accelerating Sonora with a review of production above the initial 17,500 tonnes, buy an additional 500 hectares at the lower end of the planned production site for future expansion.

Millennial according to LAC is the largest lithium project to be coming online in 20 years, this was approved two days ago.

If you accelerate something in the time you will get nearer to the 'future'

Agree with the views that Ganfeng can easily scale up Sonora, let's not forget the cost of production, battery-grade lithium with acknowledged surprisingly low impurities and site work is already underway with production in late 2023.

The lack of attention by KM, he knows the project inside out and the people at BCN having been on the board and perhaps there's nothing he needs to do that hasn't already been discussed many months ago, an understanding perhaps pending the Ganfeng completion - Baconora delists 26th January.

Could those 500 hectares be the new tailings area freeing up EL Sauz and Fleur for a possible start of production?

that was an early prototype and very impressive and what an impact that video made on people, bad news though the production model has caught Ford out!!

F-150 production target has increased fourfold (doubled and doubled again) to 150,000 a year, you can see why and to be honest this must be a wake-up call to the entire industry - does Ford have battery supplies because the demand is most certainly there and will people choose alternative EV trucks if they can't meet demand?

My original post below from September 2019 vindicates me being positive, battery size is now stated as 131 Kwh so not quite as much lithium, still, production jumping straight to circa 15% looks very strong, plus we can add other offerings now to the pickup truck launches such as GM.

How soon before Ford double again, and again?

There's going to be fierce competition between Tesla, Rivian and Ford who are clear leaders in the US pickup selling just shy of a million F150 series in 2018 (as far as I can find)

With big batteries likely to be in the 200kwh range so probably circa 150kg LCE, if Ford went 50% EV that alone would be 75,000 tonnes of LCE!
Perhaps a big spike required in battery-grade lithium is on the horizon?

It's been fun
Done now. I have now worked out who most of you are and what your game is (that last bit was obvious). It was not a pleasure to meet some of you in person when I did. I did well not to punch you in the mouth.
You let yourselves down with your eagerness to pump and dump these past few weeks. After all, that is what you all are - pump and dump merchants. Just try not to pretend otherwise. Many of you know the BoD and it needs to be investigated whether or not they know you are doing. I hope for their sakes they do not.
So no point in being on this board anymore. Let's see if you are investigated as you should be. I have kept every little boast from 'Barksy' about knowing the board and drinking with them and acting as a conduit between them and the shareholders on here. Those comments from Obs to his 'friend' Ivy about getting in new blood to minimize their shareholding was priceless. Those two rank alongside each other as some of the most blatant things you have said and done. Add them to all the other tactics employed and it seems, to me at least, really clear cut. Don't think that because it is common practice you will get away with it.
It's not for me to decide if what you are doing is legal, just for me to get the evidence and report it.

You were well aware we were selling down our ithium asset but you chose to make a comment about that but instead ramp up the company irrelevant numbers pretending you were in the know.That is not research. Add that to your January comment about getting new blood to minimise the effect of an impending dilution (you are aware when they are going to happen it seems) and we can might hazard a guess as to what your game really is.

Add to that BYD has had a great performance in EV growth, they could well be a challenger to Tesla in a year or so - IMVHO
