I would think the conditions are now right to advance any off-takes after the Renault Vulcan off-take announcement

KDNC" mining for lithium , l have been in there for 7 years the company was worth a 100 million cap when down to .03 , they had a stroke of luck and brought in to amapa which was abandoned now the s/p is 10.5p they starting shipping today over the next 6 months we will be looking at £2 per share " it just goes to show a dead horse can come a live again

Well Ganfeng has 18 months or so to build a solar project - prices have fallen drastically since 2018 as have battery costs.

Slide 11 covers the process they had planned but we don't know for sure this will be Ganfeng's chosen one.

The way BYD is heading supplying LFP in particular blade batteries to other manufacturers could lead to several battery plants throughout North America. Plenty of speculation that Tesla will use BYD batteries in several models as well other manufacturers doing so.

Lots of possibilities - disruption will spring many surprises in coming weeks, months, and years.

My thoughts being the critical thing will be the time between the Bacanora conclusion and when (and if of course) Ganfeng approach KDNC, if they waste no time with the offer we might not have enough time to respond if the offer doesn't reflect true value.
Perhaps the prudent thing would be to be prepared to respond quickly, add to that the position of the KDNC bod should be to negotiate the best terms for shareholders and will they be in a stronger position if Amapa lands before the BCN conclusion

Talk about being indecisive, are we sitting ducks for a full-on bid as has been alluded to?

Hopefully, we can all put seven or more years of waiting behind us very soon.

I'll be doing just a little promoting where I can but for now, will await further developments!

RETROACTIVITY RULES

Retroactivity rules enshrined in Mexico’s constitution will protect existing concessions from any negative impacts from the lithium reform, according to Rockland.

“[The plans] will not apply because Elektra concessions were filed in 2016. In Mexico the principle of no retroactivity of the law is in the constitution of the country,” England said in an emailed statement.

Article 14 of the constitution states that no law will be effective retroactively if it is detrimental to any person or entity.
