I think you may have mentioned all of that repeatedly, over and over again.
He didn’t “wilfully trash” the share price, he made some poor decisions which resulted in that - I very much doubt it was intentional!
His tactics have been sub optimal on some occasions but you don’t know what his options were at the time. I still think his overall strategy of ‘buy when asset prices are low whatever the short term cost’ may yet be the correct one in the long term.
However, as you say, doing nothing now seems to be working well. Various posters (including the two of us) have been saying for years we need some stability, pay down of debt and ability to compare Q on Q and Y on Y finances and production to justify a higher share price.
It’s looking like that might be where we are now heading so let’s enjoy it!
