That's fair enough Alessandro, TBH I can't see them achieving that either, but I do wonder why on Earth they put those rather large 'Targets' for want of a better word out to the market in the first place?

Only another 96m shares left to buy back before June30th 2024 in order to reach the stated target of 97m, as annouced on the 27th June.

Dec have only repurchased to a mere 1.36m to date I reckon.

Recent processing plant upgrades, such as the $146 million expansion in 2019, indicate Newcrest plans to utilize the plant for years to come. Upgrades expand capacity and extend the operating life.

So based on Newcrest's production scheduling, resource estimates, and plant investments, the current expected lifespan of the Telfer processing plant is likely at minimum to 2027, with opportunities to potentially operate longer depending on further exploration and reserve growth.

I strongly disagree.

No way will SD want to sell our 30% IMHO.

SD has built a very strong and talented management team specifically for the long term development of GGP relying on the cashflow provided from Havieron over the lifetime of the mine etc.

I also understand from reading some of the TH meeting feedback comments on TG, that the current management team would then be (top heavy.. my words). So, if we sold our 30% and reverted back to an explorer and not a ‘Developer’ why the need to employ expensive senior heavy hitters if you like?

Just to add, in that scenario, the only way we could get a lower price for a package deal would be if a large discount was applied in respect of Telfer because of the no doubt large associated decommissioning costs at such a time in the future.

Then and only then once mining Havieron had commenced we could make an annual provision for when that time arose, IMO.

I'm with Interactive Investor and normally can vote electronically through their platform as I have for many other holdings etc.

For some unknown reason to me GST was not available on their system last year.

Resolution 4: It's an authority to issue UP TO to 800,000,000 shares , hardly likely IMO that they would do that in one fell swoop. Would have to be for a very special reason , ie further aquisitions, marketing, web development, licences, staffing etc.

Resolution 4: THAT in substitution for all existing authorities previously granted, approval is given for the Company to issue up to 800,000,000 new Shares (Last years was 700,000,000 shares) in accordance with Article 8 of the Company’s M&A, at the Company’s discretion at such times and on such terms as the Directors deem fit.
