Only just read the very sad news , I will certainly miss Adouk's postings (now I know why he hadn't posted for a while ) and indeed the very many late into early hours O/T (Off Topic ) conversations that we had back in the days before the SP crashed and Trice was in charge etc.

He was a true gent ,and as others have already stated was a very astute and gifted talented wordsmith .

What I liked most about Adouk, was that you could ask a him any technical oil related question you wanted, he would always take the time to answer your query in full for the benefit of all non oiles like myself.

One saving grace I suppose, is that at least he saw the removal of the former corrupt BOD's.

RIP Adouk, will miss your postings, my sincere condolences to your family.

That would be nice to have, but I rather feel that the majority of profits earned by GGP in the first few years as a miner will be used to fund further drilling campaigns on our other 100% owned assets, until such time that we have a second income stream from another JV?

In reality for me anyway, cannot see any dividends for at least 8-10 years.

Agree, if the II's want a piece of the action given the low volume of free float shares available, then there is only one solution, the price must rise.

Friendly advice, before you post a question, why not do some basic research, GGP website, GGPHelp, etc. You say you have DYOR etc, so let us all know what you have found out and then provide a link or two to support your question, make life easier?

Why would NCM want to buy shares in GGP?

1.To gain a seat on the board of GGP?

2. To prevent a hostile takeover of GGP by having a stake and vote? If such a hostile takeover were to be launched and succeded, the JV/contract re Havieron would still stand whomever the new owner was. IMO.

Why? because a company is a seperate legal entity, just like you and me, and no matter whom might be the new owner/controller/BOD's of GGP the JV contract of GGP with NCM would still be legally enforceable and so stand IMO.

Once they attain 75% ownership it's theirs.
