This is the bit that concerns me.

So, we have all seen over the last 18 months so called 'Cancelled Trades' in the trades on this website. Assuming the cancelled trades were carried out under a badge of 'Off Book' etc.

This then makes me think ,that maybe shorters outside of JPM , ie those lent out in excess to the declared JPM 20.35m were actively putting through sells via off book, in order to drive the price down at that particular time.

Then at a later date they cancel the trade (as we have seen ) and return the shares to their rightful owners having achieved their objective???

No wonder IMHO ,many believe that AIM is so corrupt :O)

Drill deep into Sprott and Van Eck, plus shares on loan do not equate to actual shares being shorted as such, would be my take.

In other words, put in an order for greater than the market size, you will then invariably pay more, so split the order up is my take.

Other than that, try a Fill or KIll order.

I split the purchase for 2 reasons.

1. The market size for GST is 300K, and the asking price attained, ie 1.194 and it was my belief that had I gone for 500K all in one go the price would have been even higher.
2.As to the 200K buy I was somewhat surprised to be honest, but nonetheless pleased.
3. It is questionable when the MM's do that, you just have to try different angles. Sometimes I have found it beneficial to do a 'Fill or Kill type order', ie you state what you are prepared to pay. In a low volume market day you may find that you win. :O)

Fair enough Stumpy, we shall have to wait and see.

Long term though. I personally can only see the price of gold increasing as FIAT currencies remove personal wealth via inflation..

There has to be an alternative source of wealth preservation and many folk will be looking for that.... and it ain;t bonds or gilts nor bitcoin :O)

Bottom line, many companies play the ESG card, but underneath have zero intention of carrying it out to the full... otherwise they would rapidly lose revenue etc. Just look at some of the larger O&G companies as an example. Some will invest a few bob in windfarms but that is not where their mainstream earnings will be derived from, IMHO,

These were both my buys on the 28th, 200K of them were shown as a Sell,

Nothing honest about that article Mr Plode, no mention whatsoever of shorting and its effect on the SP over the last God knows how many months, was it now circa 90m, at least on loan?

This means the holder of record is entitled to vote on any corporate action that is decided upon by shareholders. When it comes to short sales, the problem that arises is determining who is the holder of record on the shares being shorted.

The Bottom Line
An investor enters into a short sale when they believe that the value of a security will decrease. They decide to sell the shares, however, they don't have any shares to sell so must borrow them from a broker and return them at some point. Because they never own the shares they are never the holder of record and will not have voting rights.

Voting rights always remain with the owner of the shares. This is either the original investor that bought them or the investor that buys them in the open market when the shares are sold in the open market during a short sale, which is agreed upon when opening a margin account.

Novice, think you are being a little too harsh.

Watch the video from 10:16 , ST states we have made very good progress, and in a couple of months we should/could/maybe expect an official regulatory tool (ie, Sandbox) to gain access to UK businesses /approval to allow GS Money to officially do business in the UK. That's the way I have read this, so this is one step further in terms of progress than has already been alluded to in the most recent RNS?

Also all on track with Glindala, etc. (however, no new news on that score)

All in all, I think we are getting there, albeit slowly.

So I take it that SD would only invoke resolutions 3-5 (assuming they pass that is, although most probably will anyway) for the acquisition of a near term revenue generating asset either by directly purchasing it or via a JV route.

If so ,I will vote for 3-5, would still like to see that in writing though :O)
