Yawn...I thought you guys had given up flogging a dead horse on the pvr board yesterday. Look at the mega results already delivered by mfdvco / NUOG on helvick and dunmore after 23months. SFA and the option runs out on 28 Feb. Do your ramping on the NUOG board please.

Well it sure has provoked some furious reaction that we suddenly have a whole rash of NUOG shareholders speculating that they may be the incoming partner on Barry. I actually would favour a company with a proven track record such as the oft mooted Cairn or Total as I believe they would be best able to bring the project to a successful conclusion. But hey ho! It's all grist to the mill and if it gives rise to another bunch of new investors buying into PVR/LOGP then thats all right with me. We'll know the outcome by the end of the month of Feb no doubt.

Im a bit surprised that PVR share price has not bucked up a bit more given the favourable background music and sentiment that a Farm out is more or less a done deal. Compare this with LOGP which has well nigh doubled since December. I'm invested in both by the way.

Cairn would be my preference as well. They're now reaping the benefits of the highly successful Catcher field coming on stream last month, along with partner PMO, so with improved revenue flowing in they are in a strong position to start spending money on another development project. It would be an incredible coup for PVR if they could get Cairn to move forward on both Barryroe and Spanish Point (where they have an interest as well). Looks like all will be revealed soon enough.
