Ouch! There is massive expectation that NUOG (potential farminee to Helvick and Dunmore...and whose 2 year option expires tomorrow), are going to release an RNS this week to declare a done deal on H&D with Barry as a juicy add on. Their SP has risen quite spectacularly on foot of this. I am not really convinced of this. Some are. We will know very soon as it is reasonable to assume that an RNS will give an update either way. Anyone got any thoughts on this? By the way....most of this "expectation " is by posters on the NUOG board. Personally I think it's a mickey mouse outfit and most of the posters are chavs. Opinions on a postcard?

Yes...it seems possible. But I still feel that the company owes us an update as people are starting to doubt the credibility here as evidenced by the number of sellers and the drop in the SP. It's not looking great over at LOGP this morning for example. I googled the phrase "exclusivity agreement" and most of the definitions refer to the point that such agreements are generally for a fixed period and are not open ended. So an update which indicated an end point for the agreement would be timely IMO.

Well....doesnt look like we are going to get an update on this today. I'm quite disappointed. Would have expected that after 60 days into the exclusivity period we might have (at least) got a letter of intent out of the prospective partner. Some news about progress on permitting / well planning / procurement of drilling rig etc should be forthcoming, especially as it was announced at the last AGM that the company was going to be progressing these work streams. I get the impression from reading various boards that quite a few investors have been calling and emailing both companies.....would have expected a response by now. After all....it would only take about 15 minutes to draft an RNS. So why all the secrecy?

No idea....whats the volume like over there? Usually it's pretty light.

No point in complaining on a bb mm. Phone the company. The more people who phone the more likely they will update.

It's worth remembering that even if the farm out is unable to proceed for whatever reason....that PVR & LOGP have stated they will go it alone on a vertical well and a sidetrack.
