Granto. There is also cash in hand of approx 20 million. We hope. Don't think our Tony did himself any favours in that SBP interview when he alluded to "the deal closing later in the year" after the RNS more or less stated that the deal was closed but only awaiting approvals by both governments. Everybody understandably quite cautious at this stage. Time for the directors to step up to the plate and put some skin in the game to build confidence. Prove they have confidence in the deal by putting their money where their mouth is. Would be good to see some news on H&D and Sp.Pt as well. NUOG mentioned H&D in a recent RNS (last week) and said they had made progress towards earning their working interest. A statement from the Barryroe partners is in order here....I'd love to see some movement on other assets in the portfolio. Especially Helvick as I've got a fairly large investment in LOGP who have an interest there as well as in Barry.

Well... the deal is a long time in the making. It's a deal I suppose. Initial thoughts are that it is not exactly life changing. Tony can now bump up his salary on strength of it so that's nice!

Good point. It's also possible that PVR are engaging with some entity which does not have a reputation. IE a consortium of contractors, who may be having difficulty in raising project finance. Another possibility is a state owned or semi state body which could be rather bureaucratic. For example...in such organisations final investment decisions are made by a committee which only meets on specified dates...usually every 2 months. Like everyone else here I am bewildered and hacked off about the delay and the consequences for my money. Searching for answers.
